  • I can understand what he is saying, but wow this is one of the stupidest things i have ever seen in my life. asus? acer? fuck that. real computer companies are actually inventing cool shit while they make this piece of shit.

  • I LIKE THE PRODUCT. BUT I DONT LIKE THE WAY MR. WANG TALK IT SOUND LIKE HE IS EATING HIS OWN WORDS. I CANT UNDERSTAND ANY SINGLE WORD. POOR ASUS NO ONE WILL BUY THE PRODUCT BECAUSE OF THIS DEMO

  • Multi Touch and This Year and the only four words I understood.

  • Maybe make the screen optional? Options for a Numpad, Multitouch trachpad, or multitouch screen (Can switch between numpad, trackpad, and misc)

  • 2:22 "Why man the nigger" WTF !!O_O!!

  • LMAO xD

  • @coolkid19901 LOOOOOOOOL

    hahahahahaha

    ROLF!!!!!

damnit man you are killing me

  • The Screens really pointless.Could've just put a good graphic card in there and beefed up the specs.Would have made a good Desktop Replacement.

  • A keyboard with a screen WTF! why do we need this, Pointless.

  • it cost's like 400$!!!!! who is gonna buy it? for 350$ i can get a 27 inch touchscreen. this is for rich gadget maniacs ONLY.

btw for the 2 of the 2:51 minutes of this video i thought he was speaking chinese!! two words man "english lessons"

  • es un ipod con un teclado esta chido jejejejej kiero uno!!!

  • i prefer laptop because im a big gamer

  • i think its a cool concept for people who do not want to spend much money on a pc or a laptop and they just wanna browse the web and check mails and stuff like that. tho the display is 2 small in my opinion. and inch bigger would've been great.

  • @HASHlRAMA it's allready been invented. It costs about 100$ less with a 12inch screen. It is called netbook

  • @cyberlord64

yea well i didnt know the price i figured it would be cheap, plus, it probably can be used as a keyboard of another device. so it would be nice if it was cheap.

  • Would be great for taking notes.

  • So would a tablet pc or a note book. This is actually a bit silly.

What can it do that existing PC's can't already do and more efficiently?

The only purpose i can see for this is for it to be integrated into school desks so students can take notes as you said but even this would be better done with a tablet pc or notebook.

  • Shades of the TI 99-4a

  • asus is from taiwan? i'm I right? soo amazing

  • I have to admit, it's an interesting concept... I'd probably get one...

And how awesome would it be to whip that out in class, I mean seriously...

  • It would be better if you could take the touch screen device out of the keyboard.

  • useless, unresponsive multitouch screen......

  • Stupid ass concept for a laptop, this guys will do anything to sell you shit you don't need just cose it looks cool, when in fact its unpractical, so just buy a laptop, it as a bigger screen, more powerfull features and you can look where you should, witch is right ahead instead of a ridiculously small screen on the side.

  • you retarded idiot, this is not a replacement for a laptop you dipshit, this is a replacement for a PC, don't bash something you don't know shit about

no more heavy boxes, you can take it to your living room and connect it to your LCD TV via HDMI so you can watch movies, play games or surf the web on your 100inch TV, take it to your neighbor and do the same stuff at his place

this is not shit but a revolutionary invention, once they put more resources into that, it will be a fucking blast!

  • i don't want to ruin your nice world but in OUR world laptops are the best replacement for PCs.

YES i can it to my living room and connect it to my LCD TV via HDMI even wirelessly. YES i can watch movies, play games or surf the web on my (wish it was be) 100inch TV.YES i can take it to my neighbor and do the same stuff...but NO i haven't a heavy box. what's the innovative step in this?

  • of course i knew you were joking! :D

  • if you honestly believe LAPTOP == EEE KEYBOARD I have no words for you, I guess if you don't GET the concept, you just don't

    don't buy it, I will

  • strangling to see the point

you said you can hook it up to your TV and watch movies, but honestly you can do that with a lap-top. and nettops with blue ray disc are already set for this job with there wireless remote.

You have to connect this thing to your TV via a wire instantly making it impractical what is som1 trips? no risk of this with a nettop.

the only works as a space saving device eliminating the tower and mouse but so does a lap-top.

What can it do that nothing else does?

  • it does what other products do but it does it better, that's the whole point

  • Yeah i looked into it a bit more. for me the main thing about it is that it has wireless HDMI.

BUT i think they could of got better results if they would have just made a tablet pc with wireless HDMI. that way you get a bigger screen, it becomes just as mobile as a netbook

Don't get me wrong this keyboard is good, but its not the breakthrough that laptops were or dvd players.

  • ok so let's look at it this way

I have an LCD TV in my living room and my PC and laptop in my own room so when my parents want to browse the net I have to get up and give them some space, so instead I could keep the EEE keyboard in the living room and whever my parents want to browse the web, they could just do that via TV, it's easier, faster and more practical this way, so it's better

that's why EEE keyboard > laptop

  • But they could do the same with a nettop and the nettop might be better because some of them have blueray players and you don't have to worry about the recharge.

And the cost is killer. its not as if Asus have revolutionised PC'ing with this it's just an alternative rather than a replacement.

When the iphone and blackberry came out nothing could do what they did. Wii revolutionised gaming. Eee keyboard i think is more novelty.

  • @2:24 "white man da nigger"

  • lmfao it seriously sounds like hes saying white man da nigga

  • LOL what the hell did he say???????

  • I'm not keen on the keyboard being so far to one side,

  • it will be better if they make same keyboard, but don't put in it computer, in this display, u can choose calculator, or numbers like in normal keyboard, it would be better (sorry for my english)

  • why don't buy a laptop ?

  • Perhaps it might be better if the display were on the left hand side. That way you don't have to turn your neck quite as far to read the screen (as in text-editing / console uses).

  • Oh, another thing... WHY does the keyboard have a Windows logo on the meta key ? It doesn't use Windows...

  • Can I have the keyboard without the display ? Looks like a very nice keyboard. Otherwise, fail. Seems like a pointless and awkward device to me. A tablet with bigger display and virtual keyboard would be better.

  • Well, consider my position. I'm a student, and I want a computer to take basic notes with, as I have bad fine motor skills. I don't want a laptop screen, and I don't want a tablet because a virtual keyboard would be unuseful to me with my poor motor skills. I don't need to look at the screen much, and I don't need a big screen. My situation is unique, but niche markets are exactly what ASUS is trying to fill.

    Unfail

  • Good point.

  • omg, china freak. he spoke in chinese

  • Had a pretty hard time understanding this guy...

  • Monitor should have been on top.

  • If the screen would be on the top, a lot of space would be wasted, or the resolution would have to be something ridiculous like 1280 x 180, because it would be a line. The screen on the right side of the keyboard is an excellent choice.

  • how much you think it'll cost? i really dont have any idea what this thing really does

  • i head its gonna b like 450

  • omg awesome but bet battery life sucks ass

  • whAt?. i rATHER have a laptop.

  • So tell me again... Why do I need an ipod with a huge keyboard attached to the left?

  • its useless... FAIL

  • yea, its a neat idea, but it'l never be useful

  • damn... Too bad I can't understand shit

  • Yeah, i cant understand a shit neither

  • Looking forward to having a keyboard that draws as much power as a small netbook/laptop lol... how lame can it get?

  • Right around 2:22, I think he says "white man, the n****r"... wtf

  • He spoke Chinese there for a sec, and there's a word that sounds a lot like it.

  • "White man" means output or outside in Mandarin...lol

  • wtf does this dude have a dick in his mouth, hes harder to understand than a Somalian.

  • @Nightjoker7 Thats cause his name is Wang.

  • I thought it was pronounced "AY-SUSS".

  • nope its ah suhss

  • There was a big confusion about the spelling, but in the end - it was confirmed that it's spelled "ah-sus"

  • For that I'll get an Acer Aspire One with 160 GB and XP.

    Thank you very much :)

  • if it's as powerful as a net-top then it will sell

  • $300 for a computer keyboard that is basically only good for msn is a bit much, but if you can use it as a keyboard on your computer and be able to map custom buttons on the touchscreen it be awesome as a gaming keyboard

  • this is not a keyboard but a full computer with intel atom n270!

  • That's funny as hell. jar jar binks rotflmao

  • am i the only one having problems understanding him?

  • @rstigerback NO!

  • looks cool

But Mr Wang talks like jar jar binks its anoying

  • $299 price tag too! goning to be awesome :)

  • yea!!
