  • Laughter is good medicine =o) ....see you soon Keith, or whatever your name is now :))

  • I have been on both sides...I have been a giver, and also, in need!...This song puts it in perspective, totally, on both sides..I can not wait till his movie comes out..I trully feel we have lost the meaning of Gods word...AMEN

  • 44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ 45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

  • I agree totaly with keith.

  • I am crying right now. I was 17 years old and a very new born again christian when Keith and his child died and left his wife with one on the way and other children.

It makes his life that much more beautiful and worth while, not to mention his music.

After going through much tragedy myself, now 49 years old, I understand.

    Yes, I understand!

  • God....we could have used him around today....

  • trust God Hear Listen Do

  • Thank you for keeping these beautiful and so treasured moments alive here for all of us to enjoy. Because we sure Love Keith's works and music.

    Pastor Kathy

  • great video=)

  • I wish Keith was here, now - what an evangelist! He was the first Christian music artist I listened to after I got saved and he increased my love for the Lord with his passion for Him. What a blessing!

  • Keith, you are a troublemaker ;-)

  • Jesus was thought a troublemaker too! And He told us"If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also". But He said said "Forgive them, for they know not what they do." One has to be converted by Christ Himself to understand what the Christian life and walk are all about. Satan has blinded all humanity into seeing Christ and Christians as "troublemakers", but how wonderful it is when you "taste and see that the Lord is good". I praise God for saving me, a "chief of sinners".

  • @Moongold7 I agree.

I meant Keith is a troublemaker in a good way.

    (he basically looks like jesus)

  • I went to a Keith Green concert and the truth he spoke literally changed the rest of my life...we now travel around the globe seeing mass thousands be set free by the truth. Dane of Worldquest

  • the sheep and goats? what sheep and goats????

    PS

i wish he would shave he looks like Jesus in children's bibles

  • @Rasberrygum8 Assuming that your question is serious: this song is based upon a bible passage in the book of Matthew chapter 25.

  • @Rasberrygum8 "Jesus in children's bibles"?? Yea it was called the 70's. Honestly, people should have to take an IQ test before they are aloud to post on you tube because that was just sad. Do you feel embarrassed to display your ignorance so publicly?

    PS

He cant shave cause hes been dead for like 20 years.

  • Bottom Line....

It's What Jesus has already DONE!

  • Cemetary... Seminary... lol I Love it!

My mom and dad met and worked at his ministry for years... they knew Leonard Ravenhill, Winkie Pratney, lived next door to 2nd chapter of acts... etc! It's cool!

  • Okay...So is salvation secure or is it not? The apple tree is what it is (saved), but, failing to bear fruit (quantity is not discussed by Kieth) disqualifies if from being useful, therefore, (unsaved). Does anyone know if the fruit they are producing is sufficient to spare them from being burned? No matter how fruitful, Keith's songs (Especially, Asleep in the Light) condemns believers, because no effort is good enough when the there is always just one more and then another to be saved.

  • I don't think that you need to 'do' anything to be saved. However, I 'do' think that if you ARE saved, and have a personal relationship with God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, then you 'do' want to 'do' what God asks, and bear fruit!

  • @meggiemeown

Kieth is taking one side of an obvious New Testament contradiction: Salvation by "Faith" and Salvation by "Works." Both are mutually exclusive of the other...The Apostle Paul and Peter banged heads over the issue. Matthew and James are not in accord with the "Faith alone" message. The problem with Keith Green's message here, is that no one can be sure they are "DOING" enough; the results are spiritually damaging. Been there.

  • @42BETWO,

I am so sorry that this is what you got from his songs. The songs you hear are very specific, and refer to specific sub-groups of people who call themselves Christians by outer trappings; yet like the many parables Jesus shared... who are lukewarm, or worse, hypocrites. Each song he does is very specific to one teaching in Scripture. He has other songs about salvation by God's grace alone. The messages are not in opposition, but rather for audiences that need 1 or the other...

  • 42BETWO,

Please don't feel bad; your Q. is one that the Church has been doctrinally split over since Calvin and Luther. In the end, it is not about measuring up and avoiding punishment. It is about apprehending and embracing the love of God. If you love God with all of your heart, it will show in your life; you will be transformed. But for man to try to "earn" this love is the antithesis to the Message. "I don't think that you have to "do" any thing to get into heaven." From this clip!

  • RIP. Bless you monum. Please anyone who has anything like this from before 'Jesus West Coast', post it and further God's truth!!

  • Keith Green rocks. But can someone help me, I dont get what he meant at 2:47, coz the audience is like oohhh, lol, yeah I dont understand. =)

  • He was making a joke by playing with word order. The Full Gospel Businessmen was a very active organization in the late 70s early 80s and he said "Like the Full of Business Gospel Man." It was just a little pun.

  • haha, lol at it being 3 months ago, but i just reread your reply. actually makes sense now hahaha. thanks for the help

  • "It was almost like the 'full of business gospel men' you know..."

If anyone has a full unedited version of this or any Keith Green preaching/concert appearance prior to the 'Jesus West Coast'; please post or contact me. Thanks in advance.

  • Very different

  • tree removal business... :-))

  • full of (fuller ?) business gospel man...

    :-DDDDD
