If anyone watches Le Mans... you will know the Aston Martins were not down on power, as many times they would overtake the corvettes on the straight.. as far as racing heritage.. Aston Martin is one of the great's... and between Aston Martin or Corvette, I would take the Aston every time.. great Heritage, great car. Besides the Aston just looks better.

aston martin needs to make a good looking faster aston martin. i mean a corvette goes faster then it! it goes 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. i agree with you sw1000xg

They don't need to do anything. They have a stable of very fast, very good looking cars. But they are, they're building the One-77 that'll do it in 3.5 seconds.

The Corvette is so fast because the Americans are obsessed with power and little else. Aston makes luxury sports cars, primarily, which doesn't just mean cubic inches and horsepower.

Astons were mostly down on power if you look at their rivals. But hopefully they're gonna produce the One-77

which has 700 Hp from Its 7.3L V-12. You should thing they have a 3.5sec to 60 or faster car then! :) And I hope to film it on the Nordschleife!

Funny you should say that it sounds like a Spitfire - to my mind it doesn't, cos the Spit never revved that high - but it's a V12, no doubt about that. Naughtiest sounding engine since the Jags of the late 80s. Love it!

i think it is, not all test cars look production ready, sometimes they use existing body shells but test new engines :) so this is more likely a test version on the v12
