  • It is easy for an aileron airplane. It is almost indestructible. I have purposely landed it in a leafy tree with no damage. It is not a beginners plane because it reacts too fast.

  • is it easy to fly?

  • Could you please tell me how far back your CG is (inches/root length)? thanks!

  • @jdplus3 Looks like I forgot to put the CG on the plans. If you haven't seen the plans do a search for the word carot on wattflyer. Start with the CG back about 6.25 inches from the engine mount. Move it back and forth quite a bit to find where you like it. The plane loops very tight with an aft CG but seems more stable in slow flight with a forward CG. It is not very critical at all.

  • Very nice! Looks like a future project to me.

  • i do not consider any wing delta unless the angle is passed 45 degrees, because the aerodynamics arnot the same!

  • plz tell me how u made that

  • Nice launch!

  • Nice catch before you hit the ground!

  • i have a question. when you mount the motor on does it have to be at an angle because of the tourqe? or can i jus mount it straight in the middle

  • I used a bit of right thrust although you could mount it straight and use shims to tune it in.

  • what is shims?

  • Shims are spacers. A small thin piece of plywood can be used as a shim, just place it directly behind the motor, but only along the left edge, that way the motor will tilt slightly to the right.

  • it is supposed to be down and to the right when it is on the nose of a plane but not too much only enough so that you can tell that its angled if you look closely. idk about if you put it in the middle but i think you do the same for the front but if you put the motor in backwards do when your facing towards the back of the motor

  • hello is slope possible??

  • I haven't tried sloping with the Carot^. It is very light so it won't have much penetration unless it is ballasted with lead or clay. Also the wing is 16% thick so it won't get much speed. I'd stick to the parks with this airplane.

  • Weight is 5.15 oz with 2-cell Thunderpower 480. Wing span is 31 inches. Building instructions can be found at Wattflyer. Do a search for Carot.

  • very good simple flying delta

how much does it weigh and wing span please give me essential building details.

  • that was nice... very stable can I have the pattern ? I want to make it one... that's really cool
