I think the guitar sounds pretty digitized and thin. It would have been nice to hear the sound with some bass..more filled out..because live it was probably better than this tape shows. The crowd was kind of boring so Barney just played it cool because even back then he was a madman on stage. Not too bad and it looks like everyone on stage was having fun.

I just think that its so unfair to compare them instrumently with DT cause those guys are schooled pro´s and extremely good to for being pro´s. Metallica sounds like they play it as fast as they can and its full with errors all the time. DT plays it relaxed (the same speed thou) and perfect. Just listen to the drums

DREAM THEATER are the best band on the planet by far, not only that but they always play 'covers' better, crisper and cleaner than the original bands even when they are recorded songs from the studio. Take Bohemian Rhapsody for instance, the bit before the slow solo, Petrucci is so clean and crisp, Brian May can't play it as sweet as John does
