i am first hearing about UT400, man this must be some futuristic Unreal game xD but seriously there is UT2004 also known as UT2k4 and you mean this game, well if this is a mod then it will be needing UT2004, but maybe in the end it will be standalone, who knows, im waitng to see this mod finished :D

Great game! I heard about this project a while back and am intrested to see its full results. I also heard that Sonic GL is coming back we'll see which of the two games are better. I'm getting UT 2004 as we speak. And one question this is gonna sound stupid but I don't understand fully. The ECE pack and v3334 patch are required?

We are using things that are associated with things that comes with the ECE bonus pack, also, to use the bonuspack i think you need the patch 3369, which i belive was the last patch they released for tha game :).

But your gonna need them to be able to play the techdemo.

I haven't played the demo itself, but I really hope there's another, faster way to pass the "dreaded part". Atleast something that speeds up the process.

The game/mod looks awesome, I like how the camera is fixed and how the controls seem to work, but at the moment it just seems like a straight path? I don't know. It looks good, though.

There is actually, this is an old version demo so it has improved alot. I new version of this map will be available around August. And im glad you seem to like the mod. I hope you´ll play the demo when the improved version comes out. :)

sry for 3xpost but like this. say you have an ECE pack for the official game's version that is the same as the demo? Well the ECE pack that was for the version would work. I think my demo is Patched to v3334, so I just need ECE Pack for Patch v3334 for the full game.

PS. I have a burned copy of the German UT2k4, but it won't work.

I doubt there is an available bonus pack for the demo.

German UT2004 should work fine.

Still won't work. Also, those Speed Shoes you got from the box can be reinacted by using the Speed technique in DeathMatch levels.

Looking at your build version, I think you didn't install 3369 patch and/or ECE Bonus Pack 1.1.

Also, pay attention to where did you put the mod files; read the Readme.

Someone has asked that before. Im not sure if it works or not. Unless its possible to add the 3369 patch and the ECE bonuspack 1.1 and run them on the demo, i dont see it working. Sugessted is the full game. But as ive said before. Now one has given e clear statement if it works on the demo so feel free to try and report the results.

This is a total conversion modification for Unreal Torunament 2004 and Unreal Torunament 3. Basically its free, but its not out yet. The map i played on here is form the techdemo we released a few months back. Get it on the adress in the information part of this video, just click more.

Seperate, altho you need Ut2004 for now to even play the game. For running the techdeom of this TC you need UT2004 full + the ECE bonuspack. More info can be found in the read me file in the installtion folder of the techdemo.

For installation help and so one, i think the best place to go would be the XR-S forums ;).

For the install: Download the techdemo , if using winrar, rightclick, Extract to "folder", after that is done, just copy the folder named: AshuraDarkReign to your ut2004 folder, so it looks like this: X:\ut2004\AshuraDarkReign <- :D I hope it helped, if not, swing by the forums or our moddbpage. :D You can find the links in the description for the movie. ;)

Awesome demo so far =D I'm trying to find out my copy of UT2004, but in the meanwhile... why doesn't Sonic lose all rings when he's hit? (a la the original games)

Thanks for your comment :D. About the rings tho, well, if you keep getting hit more then once your rings will keep decreasing since we dont have the invincibility thing used in all the other games. So, if you standing on spikes and dont move you will lose rings the longer you stay there. Sort of a higher diffuculty setting sorta speaking ;)

Actually I was able to play and I saw it. However, not having even a short span of invincibility, makes the hazards and badniks completely abusive, as their attack rate is quite high and quite difficult sometimes when it comes to destroy them (specially the buzzbomber one).

Well, that wouldnt be any fun would it? If i showed you the boss and all that to, why would you even wanna play it after seeing what happens after the boss? So, i only played to that part to show you the levels and such, but the boss is a suprise ;). Since im a member on the team i cant count this as a review either so XD
