Just watched the whole thing, so cute! Very good heart people. Dont worry, if shes ok now she will probably come back to see you if she hasnt gone too far! Possums get VERY attached to people, even the adult ones! lol I know my possums never miss a night of coming to my back door to see me XD

The girls have a slit and the boys have testicles I interact with wild possums every night and have the luxury of been able to pick up the babies ( and they are wild)

@sippala Hey lady possums usually have a pouch on thier underside that looks like a slit in the tummy and the boyz have a scrotum instead

Not regular milk but a special formula milk for native animals that is usually available from the Vet or Specialist pet stores.

Their digestive system cannot cope with regular milk.

Have you ever encountered a Possum from a few feet away? They are not cute nor nice. Yeah, Australian Possums are much cuter than what we encounter here in the states. Still, they are vicious.

Boys are more likely to move away to find their own home, away from their parents- which is you lovely people.

Possums have dual purpose holes- bottoms and genitals -inside one hole, both male and female. But i could notice the little balls. This is good, you did a great job. :DDD. And gave him a very good start. xoxo

Females have one 'hole' for both bottom and vagina.

Males also have one 'hole' for both bottom and penis.

My little girl possum is doing very well, and making lots of friends.

If anyone finds an adult native animal, possum or other is best to put back where they came from. They are very territorial and will not survive elsewhere.

With young animals dont be affraid to ask wildlife organisations for help, they are very good and will give you the best advice. Also vets are good, and wont charge for native animals. Thanks again.

I have been through same,she is almost grown, also made a large area 4her, the local possoms are very territorial, but less space here, in suburbia.

She knows of them, but doesnt want to leave, so i maybe babied her2much with cuddle. I guess i also did the best i could have, and like parents always wondering 'if' i did it right.

Great job, and she looked so happy climbing free as she should,

Hope to see mine free, will also worry when she does.

i gone though the same thing with one of 12 of my possums but they will go well but will stay around your house for a long time
