ya i did this with my 07 hardrock and i pretty much killed my bottom bracket so i decided i should stop before i todely killed the bike,

Yeah, i snapped those forks at the crown. Got some Marzoocchi Z3's on it.

Hardrocks always come with RST's get marazochies. (sorry for the spelling :))

I agree, the stock RSTs are shit but by the time you get Marzorchis you might as well get a new bike.
