We also have the higher military budget and spend the most to train each soldier (average amount spent training each soldier) thats why we have the best trained. We have another 180 eurofighter being made in england. We have 168 at the moment actually and despite its age the tornado is still doing very well and the decomissioned harriers are being replaced by lightning 2.

What I do know is that when periodically war games are held here between the USAF & the IAF the latter wins. The same goes in NATO war games. The USAF does not do very well, particularly against the RAF. I still say plane to plane piot to pilot the IAF is the best.

The us has over 300,000 active members of its airforce and over 200,000 reservists. That's more than the entire Canadian armed forces. What I do know is that when periodically war games are held here between the USAF & the IAF the latter wins. The same goes in NATO war games. The USAF does not do very well, particularly against the RAF. I still say plane to plane piot to pilot the IAF is the best.

It's Delta Wing Design gives it similar level of Agility and Maneuverablity like Rafale,Eurofighter.

Its not the technology that matter in war, but the "Pilot's techniques & bravery". If your pilots are not well trained then your aircraft's technology is just garbage. And I think that Pakistan's pilots are best in the world than all others. Because only Pakistan Air Force has world record to destroy 5 IAF's(Indian Air Force) aircrafts just in less than a minute.

If you base your fact in that sense than I can also say Iraq Air force was much better cause they are willing to fight until the end against the American back in the first gulf war operation desert storm 91. The pilot and its training is one part it ll bring you half way. but to make a superior and successful armed force requires great deal of equipment sophistication.

@llJAGll Nope sorry. Canada has a well trained and well equipped AF not to mention our pilots actually have combat experience from the Afghan war. However, we just don't have the man power. The us has over 300,000 active members of its airforce and over 200,000 reservists. That's more than the entire Canadian armed forces. If anyone wants to invade Canada they better be ready for some heavy fucking resistance but Canada is not really an offensive threat. We can hold what we got though.

India alone Su-30mki(4.5th gen),Mig29SMT(4+gen),Tejas(4+gen),Mirage2000(4th gen),Jaguar(4th gen),Mig27/21(3.5th gen)...Total 750 combat jets + 300 unmanned Drones.

@rohitb3 I didn't only compare number of jets because they are all different and it matters what kind of tech is in them and also who's flying them. For now France and UK are more advanced than India, even though India is modernizing rapidly. Another thing is they are one of the few countries able to design and build their own aircraft and missiles which is an advantage.
