Just in case you want to check how technically perfect and musically breathtaking she could (or she used to) be, please, search here her 3rd mouv. of Bruch concerto, played when she was younger with Andre Previn and London SO.
But how did you find her technique? Some people say its not up the work's standard. Also, some may think her reading might be too violent. What do you think? I for one like it a lot!
I think by the time you have lived over 50 years you might have alot to express about life's journey..this concerto affords the violinist that opportuntiy (mountains, valleys, dark paths--its all there for the violinist to use) She took great advantage of it and I greatly approve. I would rather listen to a concerto full of expression than a perfect one any day!!!!!
