There should be no further debate at this point in the game about the value of Serato over carrying tons of vinyl. If you are a purest and you want to carry around records bless you. The reality is you only have so much room in your vehicle and less room in that DJ booth. You no longer have to leave behind some of those "maybe" records due to lack of room. You can get back to what's important MOVING THE CROWD !

Serato has beat matching, so how is it "just like vinyl"? Did the money cloud your judgement, Jeff? Serato is killing hip hop & DJ culture because, on top of removing the challenge of beatmatching (which is really the core challenge of DJing), it removes the need for actual records. So if no one is digging, nothing is being discovered. The reason people respect DJs is because they worked to FIND the records and shared them with others. Serato ruins the whole thing by removing that element of it.

@TheGreenSeaDotNet scratch live doesn't have sync itch does its not killing hip-hop and most dj's still dig in record stores and search pools and if u every use or have used scratch live with vinyl it is almost exactly the same
