the concept of peace in this world is virtually impossible. conflict is as much a part of human nature as much as harmony. we're all human, we all have wants, needs, and desires. all those things combined make peace virtually impossible.

depends on your idea of conflict. many see conflict easily as confrontation, a disagreement. what creates the upmost impossibility as you say it as, simply may be the desire, to which many may die for. but what if we imagine, and live merely on need. inorder to live, food & drink is essential. shelter for safety. and love. yet, views of what these needs are counterdict, creating the lost sum.

ok, i'll take your example of living merely on need and super impose that on nature. in nature, there isn't enough to go around for everyone or everything and desire is not the catalyst for conflict, it is need. animals must must fight to have what they have. it is that base instinct for survival that stirs conflict but if every need in nature ware met, conflict would probably not exist. humans however can think above base survival instinct thus making peace impossible for us. we all w-a-n-t.

In the short term is raises the economy but it also can lead to hyperinflation. This is a factor that lead to Soviet Union's demise after their unless war in the middle east with Afghanistan. In the short term it boosts the economy but in the long run it lead to inflation and the eventual collapse of their economy because they refused to retreat from the middle east.

Actually, we didnt kill civilians(or at least not as much as people act like) American soldiers are very tactical when shooting, they dont just shoot around in random spots. The people we kill are terrorists, or potential terrorists, but either way, i dont know what bush thinks hes going to accomplish. This is the stupidest war ever, it has no point or purpose, and no way out.

Imagine how many lives could have been saved if the USA didn't invade Iraq & Afghanisthan. 3500 Americans, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's and many others have died and these numbers are only growing. This only fuels terrorism. If your home gets bombed, because of possible terrorist activities, and most of your family dies, would you like the guys responsible for it? I would start cheering for their enemies.
