Like human Babies... once the water breaks you only have so long before a (human baby) , Foal (horse baby) or calf (cow baby) is in danger , so sometimes one has to pull even if the mama is not pushing, but if you look you can see the person watching and trying to pull on the pushing of the mama.....

GEEZ!! Why did you have to pull so hard. You were going to pull her over. Can you imagina how much pain she must of been in. Even when she wasn't pushing, something was still being yanked out of her.

Cintamoni had a bit of a birth defect, and her front legs were not normal, which put her off balance. The calf did not emerge for the entire day after Mom broke water, so it needed to be pulled out soon to live.

What a beautiful baby! We are expecting a calf in the next few days from a cow that we care for over the winter. Hopefully it will just slide out. Cintamoni was lucky to have such a skilled assistant.
