  • Congrats to Senator Bennet on his election to a full-term in the Senate. Colorado definitely made the right choice.

  • This election proves that you can never... underestimate the intelligence of the electorate. 49% for Bennet... 48.5% against Bennet.

And... that millions of dollars of negative attack ads pumped in by the democratic senatorial committee, did have an effect.

  • @garyb12001 Haha, he won again!

  • He WON!

Thank you so much, Colorado, for sending this principled man back for a full term!

  • Michael Bennet, how did you get comments 'disabled' on so many youtube videos. What's the matter, don't like real people debating and shining a light on your lies? Michael Bennet will not repeal the Obaminable healthcare bill. Michael Bennet must be replaced.

  • Michael Bennet is a typical Democrat SCUMBAG!!!! Why the hell did the Democrats in this increasingly Socialist State reward him ignoring them (and everyone else's wishes in this nation) with a Primary win over Romanoff ????????

  • Bennett shows his true colors... he is a Socialist.

    And you heard him...

He voted FOR the Socialist Health Care Takeover.

He is not right for COLORADO...

He is not right for AMERICA...

    VOTE HIM OUT OF OFFICE...

don't allow him to spend our grand children's future.

  • @btrask3 Haha, he won again!

  • @btrask3

The problem with some yome of your Americans is, that you have no Idea what socialism really means.

The democratic Party has absolutely nothing to do with socialism.

It is not even a social democratic party (from a european point of view).

In Europe we know what socialism really means (at least in the middle and eastern parts).

If you really had a socialist government, you would not have private entrepeneurship or a private health care system, believe me.

  • @btrask3 HA u lost.

  • I'm glad to here a politician say that. It is about what you believe and is fair. You should be running to be scared to lose to voters.

  • Hes totally fucked, vote for norton or buck, either one

  • LIAR! LIAR! LIAR! I call LIAR on Senate Liberal Liar Bennet!

This tyrant toady has consistently voted for the extreme left by rubber stamping Obama's Communist legislation . Then has the nerve to make a video like he's a wise and frugal sage who is a Washington outsider. What part of NO didn't he understand when the American people said No to CommieCare? Of course he's disabled the comments so the truth can't be shown, least John Q. Public find out he got Castro's two thumbs up.

  • I will do everything in my power to vote this piece of crap out of office. He does not represent the people. I live in colorado and I am against this deform bill. Bennet will lost more than just his seat he has lost all integrity. He is the lowest form of politician.

  • You don't have a job, you just sit in the fuckin' house and play solitaire on your laptop computer with the rest of the bureaucrats.

  • @investorspolldotcom But remember they are payed off by people sent by people who get orders from the Wank House...oops! White House. So he might get fired...but he is still hanging on the Presidents tampon string like lice that he is.

  • you asshole!

  • This smug, sack-less wonder forgets that he is obligated to carry out the will of the people he represents.

Moreover, Ritter should, and will lose - if for no other reason- for appointing this jellyfish to represent Colorado.

  • @hejustleft It has not been about the people for quite a long time....all those hidden agendas Bush lied and lied about...there ya go...not for you to know until we are in a big boat with holes and no life vest in sight and the sharks are circling. I was with a certain Group in Afghanistan and we suffered the reality of being just a number at the hands of politics. Get ya killed every time. Military or civilian, to them no diff

  • When democrats succeed America LOSES.

  • Funny, FDR was a Dem and he not only got us out of the Great Depression after 8 years of GOP'ers in the WH, (sound familiar?), but he also lead us to victory in WWll, and ushered in the greatest economic boom in US history. Clinton came in, reversed the MASSIVE deficiit-spending by Reagan and Bush 1, and this country enjoyed great prosperity and peace. Then Bush 2, and 8 years later? Economic ruin. Don't forget Kennedy, who TRULY beat back the Russians in '62. Dems succeed, we lose? Hardly.

  • Holy shit, you don't know history worth a damn, do ya?

Good luck with your slave-minded life.

YOU are what's wrong with America.

  • Gopod answer sentforth, and typical of this current crop of Conservatives: no facts to back up your idiotic statements. You are right about one thing: it was TWELVE years of GOP leadership that lead tothe Great Depression, after of course, a Democrat lead us to victory in WWl. Otherwise, my history is correct. Prive me wrong. Or just keep putting up your moronic statements. I'm wrong with America? No, it's un-American, brainwashed pawns of the current Extreme Right like you who are the problem.

  • YIKES

  • Another intelligent response, sentforth. You know, if you are going to make bold statements in a public forum, you would think you could back 'em up. Me slave-minded? Methinks thou doth protest too much.

  • Hahahahaha!! Are ya'll reading this?!

After years of casting my pearls before swine on HateTube I have learned to quickly identify moot arguments, and when you stated that FDR got us out of the depression, I instantly realized your idiocy.

He prolonged our suffering on many levels for the sake of communism.

Hahaha! What a maroon! Thanks for the laugh, Chuckles.

  • ur wrong dude.

  • I'm wrong, RoyalDemonforChrist, that the cost of extracting oil is a factor in determining it's viability as an energy source?!? Wow. Dude, you really need to take politics out of the argument, do your own research and look at raw numbers. They back me up on this....

  • Clinton was the biggest joke in all of our history, well until Nov 08. NAFTA is exactly why there are no jobs in the United States. He balanced the deficit by robbing Social Security. Government IS "big business" and all that is wrong with our Nation today. What kind of future do we have to look forward too? We are stuck with three more years of chaos and babble.

  • Lizi99, sorry, but you are incorrect, "He (Clinton) balanced the deficit by robbing Social Security. " Really? Please provide some references to prove this. Also, Clinton did not

"balance" the deficit. Clinton ended unprecedented upward trend of deficit spending of Reagan and Bush 1, both Republicans, and brought it under control. Those two make Obama look like a Conservative, yet GOP'ers conveniently forget that Reagan, more than any other president, put this country on VERY shaky ground.

  • Ah heck dude, if you think it is worth my time to go and research up all the documentation and then post it as a rebuttal to you, only to have you ignore it and ask for more, no, I aint about all that. And guess what, I can say what I want anyway as my freedom of speech is protected for a moment longer. Although your government is working on that problem too. Clinton devastated our Country!

  • No Lizi99, actually gettting the information to back up your nonsense would actually require WORK. Better to be lazy & ignorant I guess. Also, freedom of speech?!? What the HELL are you talking about?!?!?!? "I can say what I want". Who said you can't?!?

  • Lets see, what is the unemployment rate presently in the US. How many manufacturing jobs were lost in the 90's?

Yeah, lets me see what else I can say to yank your chain (freely) :p

How did Clinton protect us with NAFTA??? By removing manufacturing from the US?

I think you are really racists against women! Do my nails or research to talk to you. Nails win!!!!!

  • @Lizi99 "I think you are really racists against women!" First, "women" aren't a "race", so I can't possibly be racist against women. Second, that shows me the level of your education. Third, again, your simplistic analysis shows you know NOTHING about manufacturing jobs in America. Free trade agreements have been victimizing the US workforce since the 60's. Cheap labor abroad has played a huge part. I'm anti-free trade, for now, but blaming Clinton shows you don't know what you're talkng about.

  • BTW, Lizi99, it was Bush 1 who pushed for NAFTA, and began negotiations. Clinton actually ADDED protection for American workers that Bush did NOT include. Furthermore, it was the REPUBLICANS who voted NAFTA in. Liberal Democrats actually were AGAINST NAFTA and OPPOSED Clinton. So, you have a GOP President who pushes for NAFTA and Republican Congressmen who get it passed. (Check voting record). Stop listening to FOX. They are using Christians to push a political agenda. Christ wouldn't approve.

  • all the research says that global warming is nothing more than a religion based on pure faith. the UN has admitted this in their own documents. im very sorry you are so confused but global warming is nothing but an instrument to further the international socialist agenda which i support. the difference between you and me is that you believe the lies that come out of your mouth while i will lie consciously. i plan to enjoy the wealth and power. no difference than the church selling indulgences.

  • I'm a registered Domocrat from Colorado. If he votes for this CRAP I will vote against him and do all in my power to convince others to do the same!

  • @warrenroche Oh yeah, it's very normal of Democrats to have teabagger videos and Sarah Palin videos on their playlists.

    Fucking DINO.

  • @VoiceHunter My bet is you are a very young pup VoiceHunter. The Democratic Party of today looks nothing like the Democratic Party of JFK. Do you know how Scott Brown won in Massachusetts? He reminded the people of Mass. the way the Democratic Party used to be under JFK. Search YouTube using the terms "Scott Brown JFK" and you will see exactly what I mean. Lately I am starting to feel as did Ronald Reagan when he said "I didn't leave the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party left me"!

  • @warrenroche No, Scott Brown just won because Coakley was a terrible candidate who thinks that you can win elections just by having a 'D' next to your name. Brown campaigned and took all his endorsements, Coakley just sat there. Brown is NOTHING like JFK, and it was disgraceful, on Massachusetts' part, to elect a Republican to Ted Kennedy's seat. The Democrats have been the moderate, center-left party as it always has been. It's GOP appeasers like you who make our progress worthless.

  • @VoiceHunter JFK CUT taxes. The economic BOOM that followed was called the "Go Go 60's". It's where a former Democrat by the name of Ronald Reagan got the idea! JFK was a fighter of communism, as was Reagan. Today's White House is filled with more admirers of Chairman Mao than I care to count! You speak of "progress". That is a laugh! You have destroyed the Democratic Party as George W Bush destroyed the Republican Party. The results of Nov 2nd are a result of your kind!

  • @warrenroche Yeah, the economy was great in the 50's too. That's when the income tax was in the 90's range. What did Reagan do? Open America's eyes to a culture of deregulation, business before people, and a tripled debt- that's fiscal conservatism, for ya. Reagan's idea of "fighting communism" was spending billions of dollars on a Star Wars program, which never even went into effect. And no, the election was just a result of voter apathy and dimwitted anger. We still kept the Senate.

  • @VoiceHunter You are dreaming! In the House you got your socialist ass KICKED in the biggest rout in more than 70 years! In 2012, 23 Dem Senate seats are vulnerable. By the time America sees what happens to their health insurance rates in the next 2 years they will vote in DROVES to get rid of Obama, if for no other reason than to get rid of Obamacare and will give the Senate to the Republicans in the process. And, by the way, the mere THREAT of Star Wars collapsed the Soviet Union.

  • @warrenroche Actually, divided government typically helps presidents, as it did with Clinton and Reagan. With polls showing some more enthusiasm for an Obama reelection at this time during the presidency than Reagan, it gives progressives hope.

Nope. The Star Wars made tensions worse, actually. That, and Reagan's "joke" about killing millions of people. Reagan didn't collapse the Soviet Union, he just made a speech and bragged about world leaders starting to reject Communism, by choice.

  • @VoiceHunter This time is different. Clinton tried to pass his version of Obamacare. Result? Republicans take congress back for the first time in more than 40 years. In 96 America knew Clinton couldn't do it again. This time, Obama passed healthcare. The only way to get rid of it is to get rid of Obama. HEADLINE from WSJ Nov 20: SEIU "Union Drops Health Coverage for Workers’ Children" due to "new national health-insurance requirements." This will only get worse. Obama = Toast in 2012

  • @warrenroche Clinton didn't even get health care passed. But if he did, we would've had an even GREATER economy, LOWER unemployment, and a LOWER poverty rate. The Republicans knew that, and because they hated him so much, they fought tooth and nail against it. They WANTED him to fail. As for Obama, his approval right now is very stable compared to past presidents, and if Palin runs, this will surely guarantee four more years.

  • @VoiceHunter On Star Wars, you really need to get your head out of the Orwellian revisionist history books. Reagan rejected Gorbachev's insistence to drop Star Wars in 1986. Berlin Wall came down in 1989.

  • @warrenroche The Star Wars was nothing. I REPEAT: NOTHING. Reagan... did nothing. I REPEAT: NOTHING. He gave a speech in front of a wall. Communism came down by itself when the leaders keeping up with it saw its failures. All Reagan had were a bunch of words. He then got the media to trick manipulative fucks like you to abandon all independent thought and worship at THE CHURCH OF REAGAN.

  • @warrenroche So, America rejected liberalism, eh? So then why did MORE THAN HALF of your conservative, Blue Dog coalition lose their seats while the Progressive Caucus retain 95% of their seats? Why will the Democratic Caucus be more liberal, come 2011? Why did people like Barbara Boxer and Michael Bennett CAMPAIGN on core Democratic, pro-choice, pro-progressive values in competitive races and WIN? The Blue Dogs are a DYING BREED!

  • @VoiceHunter Michael Bennett RAN as far away from Obama as he possibly could! Meanwhile, you neglect to mention that former Senator Ken Salazar's brother (Bennett was appointed to K Salzar's seat when he was tapped for Secy of Interior), now FORMER Congressman John Salazar, lost his seat to the Republicans. Of course, California is a hopeless case, a state which clearly belongs in your socialist Utopia and the source of Colorado's problems, with all the Californians that moved there.

  • @warrenroche Yeah, Bennett ran away from Obama, all right. That must be why Obama ENDORSED HIS CANDIDACY.

  • @VoiceHunter #1: I just spent 12 years in Colorado. Unless you can say the same, I suspect I know more about what happens on the ground there than you do. #2: As I recall, in the Rhode Island Gubernatorial race, the Dem candidate there suggested Obama take his endorsement and SHOVE IT!

  • @warrenroche I keep up on many nationwide races, so I've heard quite a bit about the Colorado Senate race. I'm not an ignorant fool, like you are.

Frank Caprio's been sucking dick since day one. Glad he's gone.

  • @VoiceHunter Leave it to a Socialist to start the name calling. In a game of wits you come completely unarmed except, of course, for spit balls. You are a kool-aide drinking fool who is standing in the middle of the train tracks and doesn't realize the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I'm done with you.

  • @warrenroche You have done nothing but show your true idiocy to the people who are reading these comments. You fail to know what Socialism is, and you have no capability of thinking for yourself. Just keep parroting on, teabagger. Thanks for realizing that you've lost the argument.

  • @VoiceHunter To the contrary, you hide behind the term "progressive". It is only code for socialism. If you don't realize that it only further proves your own ignorance. Or do you think the constant use of pejoratives proves you are intelligent? You think yourself superior when, in fact, your kind represents 20 to 30% of the population - TOPS! You have it backwards, Apathy is what allowed your cancer to grow. That apathy stopped November 2, 2010. More to come in 2012 you loser!

  • @VoiceHunter One thing I do look forward too is the testimony of Andrew Romanoff (Michael Bennett's Democratic Primary opponent) before Congressman Darrell Issa's oversight committee next year. I am dying to know the details of the 3 different jobs the Obama White House offered Andrew Romanoff in order to make way for Michael Bennett and, in so doing, effect the outcome of an election; a VERY serious FEDERAL CRIME! Joe Sestak's testimony should be equally entertaining! Popcorn time!

  • @warrenroche JFK was assassinated when you were like, seven. You barely remember him.

  • @VoiceHunter I remember JFK well. On Nov 2nd, 2010 the Reagan Democrats in places like Ohio remembered him too! Middle America (you know, where people cling to their guns and religion?) is not going to tolerate this "fundamental transformation" of America. The Tea Party is gaining ever increasing numbers of SANE Democrats. If the Democratic Party doesn't get back to it's roots SOON it will find itself on the ash heap of history! If you think Pelosi represents most Americans you are NUTS!

  • @warrenroche What? You mean the impure states, from "Joe-juh" to "Tay-ux-ess?" They cling to their guns and religion there. Should they really be the face of America like they want to be?

No, no, no. To be a Democrat, you must be a progressive. Progressive first, Democrat second. DINOcrats are just as such, and it's guys like you and Zell Miller who took away the strength in our party's message. No real Democrats are in the Teabagger Party.

  • @VoiceHunter And therein lies the flaw in your argument. To be a Democrat is NOT to be a Progressive, which as MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell recently correctly pointed out, is simply code for SOCIALIST! You have INFECTED the Democratic Party with Socialism, as have others who called themselves Progressives within the Republican Party. The majority of Americans reject Progressivism / Socialism by whatever name you wish to call it. They are now "hip" to your tricks. You have seen your peak!

  • Comment removed

  • @warrenroche No, it's uneducated zombies like you who buy into the idea that it's socialism. Socialism is total government ownership of the economy. I, myself, have read much more on the subjects of Communism and Socialism than any teabagger. I've read The Communist Manifesto, but I seldom tell people because I'd be accused of being a commie. I can tell you that progressivism is NOT SOCIALISM. It's people like you who allow themselves to be manipulated by your TV.

  • @VoiceHunter Let's not forget Ohio, Pennsylvania and Illlinois. In PA 4 Democratic incumbent congressmen lost their seats. Every one of them voted for Obamacare. In IL the 17th was held by a Democrat since 1982. In 2008 incumbent Hare ran unopposed. In 2010 he lost by 10 points! IL8 and IL 10 went back to the Republicans. Let's not forget Obama's Senate seat going to a Republican. Yet all you talk about is GA and TX. You are really a kool-aide drinker! BE GONE from my party!

  • @warrenroche Well, Democratic voters became apathetic and independent voters became sour over Obama not being able to undo eight years of damage in only two years. Everybody had way too high expectations. YOU are the one who needs to leave the party, because you are watering down what it stands for. Go suck Ben Nelson's cock and get raped in the ass by 'ol Zell, why don'tcha? I hear Blanche Lincoln's going to let you eat cookies off of Joe Lieberman's chest.

  • @warrenroche Yes, Georgia, Texas, and the rest of the hick states that don't belong in the good Union. There's one old Democratic Party platform I strongly support: SECESSION.

  • @VoiceHunter I just love your unabashed elitism, particularly when delivered while wearing ever so exquisite BLINDERS! Your list of "hick states" is getting ever longer. Judging by a combo of Senate, House and Gubernatorial races the list would need to be expanded to include FL, PA, OH, MI, WI, IN, IL, NH, ND, SD among others. In fact, the only place you have left is CA, OR, WA NY, VT & MA. Maybe you could make yourself a country that looks like the old East and West Pakistan!?

  • @warrenroche No, actually I'd just support the reuniting of the Confederacy, adding on Kentucky and Arizona as parts of it. We can't lose all our states, otherwise we'd lose our reputation as a superpower.

  • @VoiceHunter NEWS FLASH: Barack Obama has already lost our reputation as a Superpower. The whole world is laughing at him/us!

    Obama's IL Senate seat: GONE!

    PA Senate seat: GONE!

    OH Senate seat: GONE!

    IN Senate seat: GONE!

    63 Dem House Seats: GONE!

Remember back in 2006 how great you felt? Remember how much better 2008 felt? 2010 went to the Republicans. 2012 will go to the Republicans BIGGER! The only thing required is for Socialists like you to KEEP TALKING!

  • @warrenroche ACTUALLY, the United States has improved relationships with other countries. Gallup polls consistently show foreign nations viewing the United States more favorably.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. He lost seats. Most presidents lose seats in their midterms, especially in bad political climates and during economic hardships. Tell me something I don't know. But this doesn't change how both Reagan and Clinton did poorly in their midterms, but won their reelections in landslides.

  • @VoiceHunter Yeah Yeah Yeah, Obama lost more seats than any President in any mid-term election in more than 70 years. When you look at the ground gained by Republicans in statewide elections you are talking about a record not seen since 1928 - 82 years! Obama is no Reagan. He is no Clinton. He does, however, give Jimmy Carter reason to rejoice! Carter was praying a President would come along that was worse than him before he died. He got his wish!

  • Comment removed

  • @VoiceHunter New York City, born and bred douche bag. You sure talk big sitting behind that computer.

  • @warrenroche Aw, well I'm glad my way with words have touched you.

  • @warrenroche hey ! there was never an OHIO Senate seat gone. It was red already. and many democrats where trash the blue dogs. Pelosi would take back the house wait and see 40+ Democrat seats come 2012 and would retain the senate

  • @warrenroche Obama's done nothing that infringes on your liberties. I mean, all right, he extended the Republican-supported Patriot Act. Bad. But other than that, providing good health care to Americans nationwide isn't socialism... there shouldn't be any movement opposing that. Getting America "back to its roots" shouldn't involve greed, selfishness, and ignorance. The Founding Fathers never wanted that.

  • @VoiceHunter Good health care? ROFLMAO!!! NEWS FLASH: The Dem Insurance Commissioner approved 47% rate increases and directly stated Obamacare to be the reason why! Blue Shield in Washington is raising rates by as much as 300% next year! Health insurance companies are pulling out of the market in DROVES (so much for "if you like your plan you can keep it". 25% of Seniors are losing their Medicare Advantage plans. $500 BILLION cut from Medicare overall. 2012 will be MUCH worse for you!

  • @warrenroche I refer above to the Dem insurance commissioner of Connecticut.

  • @warrenroche The health care bill itself is not perfect. Supporters will tell you that, Obama will tell you that, Pelosi will tell you that. One reason why is because it lacks the public option, which most Americans supported, because it would keep private companies in check, so that they wouldn't raise rates. In other words, "Obamacare" doesn't go far enough. People don't want to see higher rates without something to check those companies.

  • Don't you wonder if he means it? I do. Is that naive of me?

  • POOF .....job be gone LOL

  • And I hope you do!

  • He will LOSE his JOB ! ! !

  • Sam Houston was popular in Texas

But he protested leaving the Union

Texans said he was crazy because Texans loved their guns & had been hunting all their lives & when the Yankees were confronted they'd run.

Some even went so far as to say they'd drink all the blood lost by Texans as they believed it'd be zero.

Sam Houston spoke for what was best & they found out in the end he was right.

Of course, they found that out after they impeached him by dragging him by the boots from the capitol

  • You people complain that he isn't going for what the majority is. The fact that he publicly says so is proof of him not pandering to votes. And technically he would know better as he actually has a job pertaining to this field. Quite a bit actually. If congressman only voted on what the majority of the people in their district wanted all the time we would have gotten nothing done until the news media showed up, then policy would fall into what drives ratings. We're already partway there.

  • Why would he be risking his job if the people he is supposed to represent agree with him?He is supposed to reflect their views not his own "I know whats better for these people than they do" attitude!

  • This guy wasn't elected. He needs to be booted out next election. He is an empty suit that was appointed by Governor Ritter who had to seek a replacement for Salazar.

  • In the end, we will have a strong public or free choice option as Reid knows he will never get 60 votes and will have to invoke reconcilliation so only 51 votes are needed. This is a done deal and the rest is politics. Too many senators need to save face and they know the citizens demand a full blown public option and nothing less. You have at least 4 Senators who will not pass it if it doesn't have a strong free choice option. Demos know they will not get a dime unless it passes, from us.

  • A true person. Vote him in!

  • politicians, take a page from this guys book: grow some balls.

  • A man of integrity in Congress - WOW!

  • I have to disagree with the "stoner" here on some points. Yes, Bush caused a huge deficit, and the wars are only increasing the debt, but Obama is in a tough position having to deal with a huge mess left for him. Obama also has the best interests of ALL the American people at heart,(not just the rich guys who can afford to pay ridiculous premiums),so I believe if he can pass this bill, finish the wars, and make sure that the banks/ other large corporations go crazy again,America should be OK.

  • true americans I love this guy . GOD Bless you sir .

  • not a second's hesitation. dude has my respect.

  • Amazing, First time i've ever seen a politician answer a yes/no question.

  • in one word.

  • He is like a suicide bomber. These democrats are all like suicide bombers, they dont give a fuck about anybody but the mission to do damage to this country.

  • wow, there is a lot of reasons to attack the current administration but your paranoiac view of the healthcare bill is irrational and only shows that your thought is crippled by ideology. Im pretty sure that you werent yelling Tyrany under Bush, am I wrong?

  • I'm paranoid? You are crazy. This bill will add another 1 trillion dollars to the debt which has already broke the 12 trillion mark. Bush is the blame too for adding 5 trillion to it before (in 8 Years). Bush has already left the building and these politicians are spending like a crackhead looking for a fix. Obama makes Bush look like a coupon clipping housewife. Obama is the spendthrift president, he makes so many stereotypes about come to fruition.

  • Actually they are already trying to pull the wool over the peoples eyes. The ten year cost est on these healthcare plans is actually only 6 yrs because the spending for these healthcare plans don't start till 2014. ( Although new taxes start immediatly.) If you did the cost est from 2014 to 2024 the cost est would likely be closer to 2 trillion.

  • Smarter people than you are running the country. Thank God for that. Teabaggers should go jump in a lake and do the country a favor.

  • ha only response

  • Fine. We'll take it from you then.

  • well we wont be seeing much of this guy then

  • Rassmussen Poll out today 11/23/09 Health Care Reform Bill, 38% Favor, 56% OPPOSE. OUCH!

  • And you WILL lose your job and we WILL overturn this nonsense.

  • We take simple blood tests for granted. Try and go to an Emergency Room and ask for a mamogram or blood test or colonoscopy.

No wonder the working poor die!

Who is paying for all these uninsureds visits to the emergency Rooms?

A sea of misery that the idiot Republicans want to continue!

Americans, herded like cattle because they are the working poor and uninsured.

    Third world country stuff.

    Yes, welcome to America!

    Not the America I want.

    We need CHANGE

    Republicans want GREED!!!!

  • Demotards want voters. that's why they're pushing for government run healthcare. If this isn't the america you want, get the fuck out. There's plenty room in Canada, bitch.

  • in other words: i don't care what my constituents want. i'll do what i think is best for them..... hooray big brother : )

  • Government can't even agree on how many Americans are uninsured, yet we're supposed to have faith that it can successfully manage healthcare.

  • All politicians lie, that's what they do, Lieing is like breathing to quite a few Reporters are just punks, with a silly question, looking for a chance to make an impression Politician, new man,criminal-who would you trust; or which is the least likely to offend with disgust. Media whores,Asshole, perverts and fools , Not the kind of people I'd trust near our schools So where's the best info, yet to be found. "NATURES ETERNAL RELIGION',it's a bit underground x

  • Health Care isn't FREE. It will bankrupt the United States of America.

  • if he was actually representing the people he wouldn't lose his job

  • I would almost think he's a brave man for admitting that he's going to stick to his guns, but unfortunately I know he's going to be paid off in the private sector once he leaves office. White collar crime is an easy thing to spot.

  • Go to any Emergency Room at any hospital in America and see the sea of misery that the Republicans want to continue. It's embarrasing. Working class poor who use the Emergency Rooms as primary care, millions of them and this is America?

Yes, the Republicans hate you americans as you are too poor for profit and they want you to just die.

They do love the foreigners though,as the vote 100% to give your Billions to Israel so THEIR citizens have the best government health care. Not you, though.

  • yea poor things die every day because there turned away at the emergency room

  • Any representative that openly says that they will violate the constitution needs to be fired post haste anyway. Just like the neo-cons and RINO's need to be purged out of the Republican party, so do the socialists, Marxists and communists of the Democratic party.

  • "just 38% of American voters now favor the Democratic health care plan against 56% who are opposed"

    Google it.

  • And I will risk going to jail for not signing up for insurance if I don't want it. Go to hell, Bennett.

  • You're either a liar or an idiot

  • Most polls now indicate that most people want health care reform.

Please ignore Rasmussen as Fox/Rasmussen is now a division of Fox.

  • Why would you ever vote for the continued killings of 44,000 Americans just because they are poor when you vote to send billions of our money into outer space and hand it out by the billions to Israel so they can have great government health care and by the billions to Iraq so they can have new schools and mosques?

Yes, the Republicans have voted 100% to kill fellow americans because they are poor but vote to give your billions away to foreigners and greedy corporations.

    Republicans are SCUM.

  • Poll after poll shows Americans don't want that bill. Americans want less expensive health insurance, not insurance that insures everyone.

Also, reducing health care costs starts at home. America's obesity epidemic shows no signs of major slowing. And the tens of millions of Americans who are over-eating and watching too much "big screen" TV have increased health care insurance for people who choose to live healthy lifestyles.

  • Wrong.

  • This is the Demoncrats plan after all. Meetings behind closed doors. They really don't care what happens next election year, they will just shove this 2000+ page bill on the American people.

Demoncrats got brainwashed by Barrack Hussein Obama from Kenya, Africa (he was actually born there).

Job losses around 3.5 million if the Obama care passes, higher premiums (info from CBO), illegal aliens will be coming to america to get free healthcare with our tax money, small businesses will shut down.

  • Just goes to show how far communist will go to turn tyhe nation communist.

he also is saying ten samething grayson said. Grayson said he didn't give a shit what the peoplke of his district wanted, he was going to vote his party. he went on to say that even if it would lead the nation to become communist than so be it.

Sen.Michael Bennet is foolowing along with the very samething as Grayson.

he don'r care what the people of his district wants,Sen.Michael Bennet wants communism in the USA.

  • The Senator's job is to do what he believes to be in the best long-term interests of the people of his state - not to simply follow daily polls . . . or majority rule.

  • This country is already an oligarcy.

and FYI, we never were a democracy. we are suppose to be a republic.

But that is crumbling under our feet

  • I thought we were going for bi-partisan ship on this thing? Oh, and not all Dems are on board, so yeah, go ahead and blame the minority party for not being able to get the Dems united on this bill. LOL.

  • This is proof that the Dems don't give a rats ass what their constituants want. they are going to pass this bill do. damn or die

  • When did being Christian become synonymous with opposition to healing poor sick people?

The message of Christian charity has been hijacked by the interests of the selfish wealthy class.

  • This just goes to show that the House and Senate do not give a SHIT about what the America people think.

  • Healthcare bill will cause a collapse of private healthcare for one reason.

It would be illegal to deny anyone based one pre-existing conditions.

This would incentivize everyone to wait till they had an illness, then buy insurance. The penalties are so small compared to the cost of paying monthly premiums.

I thought congressman were fairly smart. This makes no sense.

  • Good man. He'd get my vote.

  • To compromise his job he has to go against the will of his constituency. Another soon to be unemployed egomaniac putting party before his own district/state.

  • Then goodbye scumbag.

Regarding the previous comment, politicians elected to office promising one set of values or ideology, then after taking office act entirely opposite to their campaign promises, do not represent the people that elected them. Such politicians are nothing more than rulers whose laws have no authority.

  • "..politicians elected to office promising one set of values or ideology, then after taking office act entirely opposite to their campaign promises..." And they thought they were getting Hope and Change. Instead it's Business As Usual, and what's worse is the current Admin is hastening the destruction of all we The People stand for. 2010 is almost here Sen. Bennet, you had better touch up your resume.

  • and what do we get...?

    -Death Panels

    -Increased costs

  • yep. also, a $400B cut in medicare; 35+ million new patients but no increase in doctors to administer care; a fine of 2.5% of your income if you don't buy the coverage; mandatory health plan that will cost the avg family $15k/yr; 40 percent tax on health insurance premiums that will effect households earning more than $75,000 by the fifth year of the plan.

  • Nice little bunch of lies there Albydamd.

Why do you wingnuts simply regurgitate whatever bullshit flows from Faux News/Beck/Limbaugh?

  • @kaysandesses - lol, none of that stuff is from Fox/Beck/Limbaugh. Those figures are from Dick Morris former Clinton advisor. As for the Kennedy/Pelosi stuff, it's documented. Look up 'Do as I Say, (not do as I do)' by Peter Schweizer. It's a NYT best seller. Dems can be just as greedy and corrupt as any Repub =) Cheers! -A

  • Um, that wasn't the post I was replying to. Nevertheless, of course Dem's can be just as greedy, they're all politicians. That really has no effect on the present discussion of the veracity of your comments on the health care reform.

  • @kaysandesses - i addressed both of my posts for that very reason, you were not clear on which 'lies' i was spouting ;p

The proposed bill has been read by a lot of folks, and the figures from Dick Morris are a sample of what we will get if the bill passes. I am for reforming health care, but not like this. I've already seen the cost of my familys' health care go up 40% this year. And it's for less coverage.

  • Comment removed

  • Fair enough, answering two in one. Nevertheless, I just read your initial reply a third time. Even if Morris does indeed claim those numbers that isn't what is written in either the House or Senate bill.

At least we can agree that health care reform is necessary. Too many posters with a conservative bent claim that health care is just plumb as it is now.

  • @kaysandesses agreed, but i know a lot of conservatives and indies that want HC to be reformed, it could even be done in stages, not lump sum/wholesale like they're pushing for now. And then if this incarnation of the proposed bill is passed, it won't kick in until 2013. So what's the hurry?

  • Alby, you need to brush up on your facts regarding healthcare reform. Changes in coverage will begin in 2011and will be complete in 2013.

Still stuck on the talking points there...

  • The health care reform is the last nail in the USA coffin, other than the cap and trade bill. Thank God I don't suffer from the same tyranny as you Americans, all my best wishes to the people.

  • Republicans voted 100% to kill 44,000 Americans just because they are poor, yet vote 100% to give our Billions to Israel so their people can have government health care. Vote 100% to give iraq Billions for new schools and mosques. Vote Billions to send to outer space and the moon.

The Republicans just don't like Americans that are poor as they can't squeeze a nickel profit out of them so they vote to kill them.

    Nice Christians.

who are the good guys and who are the bad guys? Pretty easy to see

  • you are wrong. Troll Account!

  • @1911arthur you know very little about your dear liberal Barrack Obama. lol he voted for more funding for the war! you are a troll

  • very ill-conceived arguments.

  • You're what I've started calling "Hatriots", you hate what this country does and stands for in the world, you'd rather we were like the EU or some other country that ironically comes to the US for help.

As for Repubs hating the poor; do you have any idea how much the Kennedy's and Pelosi's of the Dem sect made off of the poor? Pelosi uses immigrant non-union workers to harvest her vineyard; the Kennedys bought oil rich land from farmers and to this day still get royalties on it.

  • "you hate what this country does and stands for in the world,."

A classic GOP/wingnut projection. Well done!

So you think that being viewed as a country who starts wars, invades and occupies other countries using rationale based on blatant lies is a good thing?

Do you think that letting 46k of our citizens die each year because they can't afford health insurance is a good thing?

See, you really do simply parrot the Faux News/Beck/Limbpaugh b.s.

  • No one goes without health care. I know because I couldn't afford insurance a few years back.

They still treat you and they either wave the fee or make you pay some obscenely low monthly charge.

You are repeating left wingnut talking points as well.

  • I'm not repeating any talking points, simply facts. If you get cancer, or need a heart bypass, or a joint replacement, etc. you won't be covered without insurance.

    I think you're trolling.

  • I WAS covered when I didn't have insurance. In fact I paid a lot less than my friends who have insurance.

I don't know how else to explain it to you . I LIVED it. I know its true.

  • I really don't understand your fractured post. So what entity "covered" your expenses?

  • Not sure.

  • Okay whatever. BYE.

  • @kaysandesses: that comment to

1911Arthur was just for him, but since you chimed in.. ' a country who starts wars, invades and occupies other countries using rationale based on blatant lies is a good thing?' who's parroting now? your response is what one would expect from the anti-war left. Ks&Ss, our little exchange here, is indicative of what ails this country. It's sad. BTW I don't listen to Beck.

  • @Albydamd "' a country who starts wars, invades and occupies other countries using rationale based on blatant lies is a good thing?' "

Classic dodge: Why didn't you answer the question?

  • @kaysandesses - 'starting wars..based on blatant lies..' not nearly enough room to answer that in depth, but here: Clinton, Kennedy, Kerry, Edwards, Gore along with other Dems, said Iraq had WMDs. So they must've lied as well. Pres.Clinton signed the Iraqi Liberation Act in 1998, calling for 'Regime Change' in Iraq. But the Dems left it to Bush to take Saddam to task, and to his credit he did. Now Pres. Obama says he'll finish the job in Afghanistan, and I support that too.

  • Alby, they said Iraq had WMD's based on lies from the Bush/Cheney cabal. Remember what Dubya said when he was campaigning? Bush II said "I will not engage in nation building." and then proceeding to invade Iraq under false pretenses. Part of his motive was to take attn. away from Afghanistan where efforts were failing because Bush/Cheney wouldn't give the military the resources they needed. If they had done their job then Obama wouldn't have to clean up 6 years later.

  • K, you didn't go back far enough:

"The community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now: a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists. If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow." -- Bill Clinton in 1998
