the iphone 3gs download speed can go up to about 1.5 mbps which is acutally very good for a phone, it gets things done and most of the time there is no buffering for videos.

Just for people not understanding the difference between Mb and MB. Mb means mbit cause of the lowercase letter b, but if the letter b is upper case like this MB it means megabyte. So b= bit and B=byte. You can roughly say 1mbit is equal to around 125kb/s.

Here in sweden where I live we are kinda spoiled with Internet connection and dont pay more then around 30bucks or so to get 24mbit down and 2.5mbit up ~ 3MB down spead and 0,3MB up speed.

How were you connected to the MiFi, was it open or encrypted? Also did you clear the cache before doing th e site loading tests? It looked like the pages were already in your history so if they were loading from cache they would be much quicker.

Looks like a nice product with an unfortunately high monthly charge. Something like this that connected to Verizon's future LTE network would be pretty awesome.

-The speedtest thing says I have a download speed of 20.47 megaBITS per second

-When downloading something from the web (program, song, torrent, etc), I get about 400 megaBYTES per second on avg; 1 megabyte per second max (greatly varies)

-My "real-time experience" as Jon calls it is MUCH slower than his MiFi.

-My school and Apple Stores realistically get about 30+ megabytes per second no matter what I'm downloading: how is that even possible?
