I think that if heaven really exists than it shouldnt matter what religion you have to get in. What should matter is wether or not you have been a good person in life, with the morality that comes from religion being a way to do so.

No, I was implying that the different sects worship the same god, but in different ways. And since the Christian God seems to be a stickler for just how he is to be worshiped they all can't be correct. Is baptism the sprinkling of water, or being completely immersed in water? Is wearing a cross worshiping a graven image? In these cases in my grandfathers church, unless you were totally immersed in water you were going to hell. If you wore a crucifix you were going to hell. Very specific.
Even if there are "over ten thousand sects" (a figure which you don't explain) you must prove they worship separate gods. I believe that is what you are implying, yes? Even a secular scholar will recognize that "sects" such as Baptist, Methodist, etc. All worship the same God. However, I will leave room for you to answer this question intelligently as misconceptions are always a constant between people on issues of faith or scholarship.
