Shes a series original. SD G Generation has far fewer unit restrictions on pilots than many other games, thus you can put Graham Acre in the God Gundam if you wanted. And he would have unique dialogue (GOD GRAHAM FINGER!)
Somewhat disjointed strategy game. When you boot up the game you get to choose a gundam main to use as Master unit, you get them and a weakened and non-upgraded version of their gundam along with a free ship and a couple originals in Tornado and Phoenix Zero gundams. From there you go to various gundam story stages and play through them to get money and experience to build up your army to get through the harder stages.
I personally enjoy Super Robot Wars better, but SD Gundam is still fun.
In SD Gundam G G Wars there is the Wars Break system, which extends missions up to two times for bonus, non-canon content. In the first Gundam 0079 mission for instance the first Wars Break has Char retreating and Rau Le Creuset and his team appearing, mistaking the White Base for the Archangel. The second wars break has you helping Shiro Amada take down Aina's Test-bed Zaku from the first episode of of 08th MS Team.
The overall story line is unaffected, its usually just silly non-canon stuff.
So, In other storylines too, I can do whatever I want, like save Stella, prevent Kira from being shot down by Shinn, Make sure Amuro survives the planet fall of Axis too? Awsome! Anything else, like original stuff from previous games too?
Incorrect. As I stated the overall story line is unaffected. At the end of CCA Amura dies. Stella is killed with the destroy. Kira's freedom is impaled (good riddance).
You can recruit all these characters for use, but the storylines in the stages are all basically the same. The Axis Drop might bring out Gym Gingham or The Frost Brothers might show up to support the Destroy gundam, but the overall plot is kept mostly the same, these additional characters are nothing more than cameo bosses.
If you want to do all that you should go into the Super Robot Wars series.
Amuro and sometimes Char live through the events of Axis and characters like Stellar and Rey have consistently been secret characters you can recruits.
As for Kira in the 2 games SEED DESTINY has been in he always gets impaled, as he should be. And in both games Banpresto largely redeems the story of DESTINY by cutting down heavily on the suck, and in Z by allowing you to heavily edit the event of the final arc.
You can get the 0 Gundam by combining a true GN Drive equipped suit with the RX-78-2 Gundam. Exia can be evolved from the basic version Exia, the 0 Gundam, or by combining the 0 Gundam with certain melee suits (IE. Gouf). The Raiser System part is acquired after finishing 100 missions, trade in the 00 equipped with the part to get the 00 Raiser.
The 00 Raiser itself can be upgrade to GN sword 3 by evolution or combining with the Exia Repair 2.
You play Zoids too? Alright. The only one that I have is Battle Legends 1, but I didn't know they had a sequel too. I'll take a look into it. Thanks for giving me the heads up.
I I do play Gundam vs Zeta Gundam, Journey to Jaburo, Zeonic Front, Gundam Seed Never Ending Tomorrow, Battle Assault 3, Federation vs Zeon, & Gundam Dynasty Warriors 1 & 2 (the second being the most recent one I've gotten.)

Im a man who knows my gundam and for sure those arnt the best. Even the guy who made the original gundam series said that the seed franchise was a disgrace. and like i said 00 is to much like wing, Like the episode when they had to save hallelujah in season 2. Gundam wing did the same thing when duo went to save heero. Yeah it was done differently but when you get down to the niddy gritty its the same thing. So im not what you call a Gundam-Hating Freak.
They're their own series in their own right, so try to have MORE faith in Gundam, alright? I liked Seed & Seed Destiny because of the thrill & excitement. 00 had action & drama in it, so a true fan like me would NEVER lose faith & actually have something good to say about every series because it has their own unique stuff that makes it different from the original series, & not to mention Tomino's time is already up. This system doesn't require a pilot with highly spatial awareness and thus even a normal pilot can control this weapons (though a pilot with Newtype abilities does improve the use of this system).So is it clear for u?No point to develop a new weapon or upgrading the current weapon if it's getting worse compare to the the previous one.And I think kira,rau,rey,mwu has this ability..
If u read the manga u'll know DRAGOON need the user's brainwaves to be able to control it...
Super DRAGOON adding some computer function to this system so normal user also able to use it...
Since super DRAGOON is the upgraded version,I think the user still can control it using his mind if he is able to do it(since not much able to do so).

Yeah, talk about it... I don't really feel like any of the battles in Gundam SEED Destiny after Impulse sent Freedom diving were really good. They didn't feel epic because they were so one-sided. I miss the great stuff, like Master Asia vs. Domon, or Kamille vs. Scirocco... even the battles in Gundam 00 were pretty good sometimes. One way you can tell a good battle: no plot shields, and each side takes as much as they give, right?

Kira had trouble there because Shinn used Destiny's mobility the way it should be used for once!Honestly what good is speed if all you do is RAWRCHARGE with several minutes of posing beforehand.Its predictable as hell.

From there you go to various gundam story stages and play through them to get money and experience to build up your army to get through the harder stages.
I personally enjoy Super Robot Wars better, but SD Gundam is still fun.

In SD Gundam G G Wars there is the Wars Break system, which extends missions up to two times for bonus, non-canon content. In the first Gundam 0079 mission for instance the first Wars Break has Char retreating and Rau Le Creuset and his team appearing, mistaking the White Base for the Archangel. The second wars break has you helping Shiro Amada take down Aina's Test-bed Zaku from the first episode of of 08th MS Team.
The overall story line is unaffected, its usually just silly non-canon stuff.

Incorrect. As I stated the overall story line is unaffected. At the end of CCA Amura dies. Stella is killed with the destroy. Kira's freedom is impaled (good riddance).
You can recruit all these characters for use, but the storylines in the stages are all basically the same. The Axis Drop might bring out Gym Gingham or The Frost Brothers might show up to support the Destroy gundam, but the overall plot is kept mostly the same, these additional characters are nothing more than cameo bosses.

If you want to do all that you should go into the Super Robot Wars series.
Amuro and sometimes Char live through the events of Axis and characters like Stellar and Rey have consistently been secret characters you can recruits.
As for Kira in the 2 games SEED DESTINY has been in he always gets impaled, as he should be. And in both games Banpresto largely redeems the story of DESTINY by cutting down heavily on the suck, and in Z by allowing you to heavily edit the event of the final arc.

You can get the 0 Gundam by combining a true GN Drive equipped suit with the RX-78-2 Gundam. Exia can be evolved from the basic version Exia, the 0 Gundam, or by combining the 0 Gundam with certain melee suits (IE. Gouf). The Raiser System part is acquired after finishing 100 missions, trade in the 00 equipped with the part to get the 00 Raiser.
The 00 Raiser itself can be upgrade to GN sword 3 by evolution or combining with the Exia Repair 2.

They're their own series in their own right, so try to have MORE faith in Gundam, alright? I liked Seed & Seed Destiny because of the thrill & excitement. 00 had action & drama in it, so a true fan like me would NEVER lose faith & actually have something good to say about every series because it has their own unique stuff that makes it different from the original series, & not to mention Tomino's time is already up. Zanspine isnt a gundam...yet it will barely take more then 2 minutes to reduce SF to stardust.I believe Garazzo would also be a dangerous opponent(come on,it freakishly fast and has an impenetrable GN Field+it would excel in melee due to its finger-blades and sheer strenght).Plus,I still insist on Quin Mantha.

In the other hand in several battle they had,kira able to land a lot of hit and he able to finish detiny off if Legend didn't interrupted.Read astray X in manga fox vol 2 and u'll know more about DRAGOON system,it said there about spatial awareness needed to control DRAGOON...^^.

It's up 2 u,but 4 me SF deserve has the reputation it has right now...^^...It's in the first battle in the ORB isn't it?When shin change into SEED mode I see kira's reaction change.But was Destiny attack ever give any hit?NO!Kira still able to handle and avoid all of his attack u see.They are still shooting each other,and u see what happen in the battle after that?Kira almost always beat shin if it wasn't interrupted..^^

1)And MAHQ explicitly states that its High-Mega canmon in ZZs head that drains the reactor."High energy requirements" of the "weaponry" refers to High-Mega in particular and I will say it again,Bio-Sensor lets it spam High-mega without having any worries about energy.
2)I call SF overrated,because not only some consider it the strongest gundam(it isnt),but Ive seen claims of it being able to defeat Eva-01,hell I bet someone out there believes it could scrath Ideo or Gunbuster.

But if u ask me about SF,after comparing this 2 gundam I think SF is still better in weaponry,mobility,powers source,defense,and special equipment ^^(overall)..

And here is the statement from the gundam wiki(In CE 73 a new version of the DRAGOON system is developed by ZAFT. This system doesn't require a pilot with highly spatial awareness and thus even a normal pilot can control this weapons (though a pilot with Newtype abilities does improve the use of this system).So is it clear for u?No point to develop a new weapon or upgrading the current weapon if it's getting worse compare to the the previous one.And I think kira,rau,rey,mwu has this ability..

Ok,About DRAGOON system...
If u read the manga u'll know DRAGOON need the user's brainwaves to be able to control it...
Super DRAGOON adding some computer function to this system so normal user also able to use it...
Since super DRAGOON is the upgraded version,I think the user still can control it using his mind if he is able to do it(since not much able to do so).

No matter how big u'r saber is it doesn't matter if u doesn't get hit by it ^^.
As far I know in the anime, there are no beam weapon can penetrate SF's beam shield,Am I right? Beside U know ZZ's weaponry drain's a lot of energy right?This make ZZ in huge disadvantage since SF is a very agile fighter(u can compare it u'r self the power output if this gundam and the thruster in mahq, I don't have to say it).Once ZZ run out of energy,U'r done ^^(mahq).

Hahaha maybe I don't have official source said that SF is faster but u can see u'r self SF is equipped with HIMAT extended HIMAT which make it very difficult to get hit(never get hit actually =p).

Why?Because it isnt a Gundam?You know outside of G,SEED and to extent Wing,there are non-gundam that are just as strong as gundams.Even if QM has lower mobility(which is quite debatable) iut has it raped in everything else.Including defence(since it has a system that can reflect beams back at the attacker like Akatsuki and I dont think Xiphias 3s can do any notable damage to it)

Underestimate?SF is the most overrated Gundam in history,it has even surpassed Wing Zero in that.
You forget the plot-shield SF and other gundams on its side had.Plus it had to use the shield qute some times.

Yeah, talk about it... I don't really feel like any of the battles in Gundam SEED Destiny after Impulse sent Freedom diving were really good. They didn't feel epic because they were so one-sided. I miss the great stuff, like Master Asia vs. Domon, or Kamille vs. Scirocco... even the battles in Gundam 00 were pretty good sometimes. One way you can tell a good battle: no plot shields, and each side takes as much as they give, right?

I have ep.34 on my computer.Freedom accelerated from below,plus Kira has never aimed for the crotch area.
Kira had trouble there because Shinn used Destiny's mobility the way it should be used for once!Honestly what good is speed if all you do is RAWRCHARGE with several minutes of posing beforehand.Its predictable as hell.

Interesting thing I have discovered about DRAGOON system when comparing Wikipedia and gundam wiki's(specialized Wiki edited by gundam fans who know their stuff) articles concerning the system.They are the same except g-wiki doesnt say anything about them being controlled by brainwaves.

Btw i never said PS armor is strong.But SF's light shield in it's hand can stop beam completely..=p

Again if ZZ lived through a shitload of remotes it wont be at a great disadvantege by 8 of them.Again you have no official stuff like acceleration rate to say SF is faster.Oh and close combat?You must mean CQ-dogfight,because melee against hardly an advantege against a suit with crazy beamsabers.Oh,Bio-Sensor.

ZZ can shoot all it wants,but it will be useless if SF able to avoid it right ?^^.Even shin used his SEED,in the battle against destiny kira still able to handle it right???WITHOUT ANY HIT!!!Beside it's on earth,that's why it cant use wing of light+the DRAGOON against destiny.Beside after that kira manage to kick destiny, make it loss it's balance and aim the shot before legend comes...^^.It would be over if ray didn't stop kira to shot ^^.

You know,if ZZ was mobile enough to sustain minimal damage while fighting suits half-a-century more advanced(and faster) then it is... as for that,you mean you didnt see Kiras troubled expressions and how Destiny was chasing it around?That was the only time Destiny's speed was used the way it has to be used,instead of Shinn's straight-line RAWR charge.Too bad it was interrupted by "my Nuclear engine somehow ran out of power" plothole.

Quin mantha does't have great mobility,dont compare it with SF it's a whole different story..^^.How do u know it's remote weapon faster,stronger,blablablabla?I think it's pretty much the same with the other funnel.And u don't have such source saying it is better than DRAGOON system..^^.Beside kira is much better pilot..^^.
