I think you make a great Kaname. And ya Idk what it is with vampire knight cosplay but the Yuuki's day class uniform was ubber high the under shirt was and then the jacket was too. Tatally had to play almost tess Yuuki at the anime thing I went to having the white shirt unbuttoned some on top just so the neckless could be seen lol. Got a lot of attention from girls as lelouch mostly...my friend and I were in the dealers room looking at swords and I asked these two girls to excuse me...and they both kinda squealed and moved out of my way...hope they knew I was a girl! lol I go by HotaruZala here on Youtube and I'm also on facebook under Amanda Halstead ...would love some extra cosplay advice and also another group to meet up with at NYAF.^ - ^ I'm not a stalker, I promise! lol  please friend me here or on FB !^ - ^

I gotta tell you...I also can't sew, so I give money to my friends who have credit cards and they buy my costumes for me online. lol My first cosplay was Cagalli from Gundam Seed in 2008 at NYAF, then in 2009 I cosplayed Ikuto from Shugo Chara also at NYAF, and at this past NYAF 2010 I was Lelouch...which was awesome since it was the first official year I had a decent costume since Cagalli's. LOL

Yeup Death Note is Awesome. i even got a death not shirt but anyways Lol. i need to catch up on these episodes i havent seen them in a while. Oh and yes Detective Conan thats the name of it Thanx. yea i got a cosplay.com, but i need to make a costume iv'e been trying to make a Sektor (Mortal Kombat) Costume so i can wear it when i go to town and everywhere Lol. I agree with that on so many levels, some chick literally tackled me to the ground at Anime Expo. Not only did it hurt, but the pants of my Mello cosplay ripped, not at a seam but the vinyl came off of the polyester backing...after so many hours spent making that cosplay it was....*shudders* Oh and Death Note is so much harder than people think, especially if you want to do it right @_@

I can understand that falling apart at cons. Unfortunately there is a picture of me as Nurse with my skirt ripping up the seam. DX Luckily I was able to fix it but OH muhgawd. You do NOT want to hear RIP when someone is photographing you.

But sewing is FUN. The key is little bitty stitches by hand. Sewing machines break easily and the risk of stabbing yourself through the nail.

Dude, scary fans are evil! And older brothers...I too had an L shirt fiasco when his fake blood turned it pink. GRR! XD
