And just because it came out 10 or so years ago doesn't mean it isn't a good system. I still to this day play my NES and enjoy. I actually enjoy my NES more than a lot of modern games.

ya but not that much cheaper, you can get a 1080p lcd monitor for $225 - $300. I got my sonyfw900 for $250+$100 shipping (It's 100lbs). I the only reason I don't own one is because I need to have the option to use lots of different combinations refresh rates and resolutions. lcds only look good on one resolution (native res), and they usually don't have very high refresh rates. They have 120hz lcd monitors, but only 1680x1050@120hz. So basically I just like having lots of options ;)

A CRT would actually serve you better than any LCD you can buy. CRTs have, basically, zero to minimum input lag (They're more responsive than newer monitors)

exactly, that's why I game on a crt. I was actually a pro gamer for a while..i got signed for a while but didn't win anything important :( Plus, It's not just the input lag and the 120hz, I like to experiment with lots of different resolutions, fw900 seems to have them all, and with lots of choices for refresh rates. Only thing I wish is that it had 120hz @ 2304x1440 or 2048x1536. It will only do 120hz @ 1280x800. That's what I use for quake ;)
