  • Is it a mix of some sort??

  • You give your commands to quickly. You can see the confusion. Not fair.

  • I thought for a sec that it was a mix with a samoyed :D IT'S SO FLUFFEH!

  • shes so cute! i love her!

  • i love your vids omo so cute good job

  • o.o it looks small for 16 months

  • Jabba the hut

  • She is gorgeous ^^ x

  • That's a Samoyed, you might say its a shiba and even if it did have a recessive gene of long hair it would not look like that. samoyed are known for they're short hair on it's face and its white/creme fur. They also have curled tails similar to Shiba's. Look up Samoyed's and you'll realize you own one. Beautiful pup by the way :]

  • 1 dislike... prolly he couldn't train his dog xD

  • This is not a purebred.. This looks to be an shiba/akita mix. Shiba Inu dont grow to be that fluffy.

  • I think her breeder has misinformed you. A pure Shibas' hair does not grow to be that long or fluffy, and their facetype is different. I have one and know many other people with Shibas. Did the breeder show you her parents?

If she is a Japanese breed she is most likely an Akita.

    Either way, super cute dog.

  • Or a Spitz...

  • Actually Shiba Inu carries a recessive gene for the long hair. I know, I have one and I bred it myselft. Both the parents are short haired and both of the grandparents are short haired. They are 100% Shiba Inu

  • @mrsgeeway80 At 4 months she would be the size of an adult shiba give or take if she was an Akita. Akitas have a "different" kind of flufeh. Look more like adult Bichons until 4-5 months.

  • Where did you get her from?

  • I'm more of a cat lover but this vid really put a big smile on my face...

  • thats definately not a pure bred shiba. likely not even 50% shiba

  • lmao "high 5 no! thats high10" cuteeeeeeee so fluffyyy

  • Very beautiful dog.

  • WAAAA! A long-haired shiba inu!! So rare and fluffy!! I saw one a few months ago at a shiba inu meet and it was the red color, soooooooooooooo fluffaaaaaaaay XD

  • Omg!! What a cute puppy!! Shiba inu's are great dogs!! I got mine about two years ago and I love her! They are so adorable they are very smart and athletic! :D

  • you're either a father or a gay

  • shes so fluffy i jus wna hold her!

  • Shiba Inu *is* Japanese. It's AKC not AKA, and cream is a color that they can be, it's just not preferred for *showing*

    Cute puppy :-)

  • is shiba japannese???

  • its prob a akita with a shiba inu mix

  • Nice dog. I thing is a mix with samoyed!! A very talented dOGGIE. well done.

  • this is a mix -.-

  • not a shiba inu sorry. not purebred either. it isn't even a aka certified colour.

  • Uhh...im really sorry but this is not a shiba inu..im guessing its a mix between shiba and and american eskimo too but it is a very cute dog!!! :] its just not a shiba inu..

  • no. this is DEFINATELY a purebred.

  • .... this is just a guess but i think she/he may be a mix between an american eskimo dog (yes there's such a thing) and a shiba inu

  • thats the cutest and the fluffiest dog of the whole world <3

  • very beautiful Shiba and she seems to be pretty smart as well

  • definitely not a pure shiba... probably a shiba mix of some sort

    still awesome nonetheless

  • It looks like a samoyed!

  • she is a pure bred shiba inu. check her old/recent the pics by clicking the links when you expand "more info" under the description.. =)

  • would this dog be suited for a medium sized apartment (2 bedroom) in a large town? Would it be a good running companion? There is a park near my place and a VERY long road where i wish to take it for walks/jogs

  • @dweedwee agreed not a purebred Shiba Inu.. Even if it were purebred, cream is not standard and if bred specifically to be cream then it is usually from a puppy mill. That dogs face and tail are totally Samoyed though.

  • LOLZ good gIIIIIRRRRlll u so SMART LOLZ

  • Its so fluffy i've never seen a shiba that fluffy cute pup

  • that is soo cute!

thats the fluffiest shiba inu ive ever seen!

    is it a mix?

  • nope. pure breed. she's just fluffy =)

  • I am pretty sure that is a samoyed and not a shiba inu. I grew up with a samoyed- awesome dogs, love them.

  • I grew up with 2 of them...Sheba enu's do come in white and have the same curl-up tail, Like Japenese akitas...

  • it's a shiba inu. i'm sure =)

  • @Portafilter33 burn. XD

  • @Portafilter33 agreed. I'm pretty sure it's not a shiba. Shiba's fur usually isn't like that nor the head shape. It might be a mixed shiba...?

  • Shibas r so hard to train... Mine is the hardest dog that ive had... Like my pitbull was easier than my shiba! But theyre so adorable and such sweethearts! I love them so much!

  • very cute female, i have a 15 wk old male, and im trying to teach him without treats. its not easyl, since we all know that shibas can be very stubborn. but i was thinking of training him with treats, since he is getting quite cocky and confident (like they all do) and i want him to stay interested in his training. have you ever taken java to classes?

  • oh em geee!! JAVA ISH SO CUTEE~~~<33

  • really nice pup and smart too, but how come she is so fluffy? (but very cute!) my shibas have shorter coats.. this is the first "fluffy" shiba pup I have ever seen but like it a lot :)

  • Shibas come in a variety of coat styles, some being more "fluffy" than others. They thicken up in winter, as the undercoat fills in, but some are pretty fluffy when they're pups.

  • there are no such things as long-haired shibas although their hair can grow longer in winter

  • Hi Riceonfire just wondering when did you start training your Shiba Inu. We have a cream color Shiba Inu boy (9 weeks old now, and he looks just like your Java except the hair is shorter!). He tends to get distracted when we are training him, and he seems not to be very interested in food as a reward and lose interest very quickly. Is this gonna get better as he turns older? Thank you in advance.

  • is your shiba a long-hair? i have a long-haired shiba pup.

  • I don't know if there is such a long-haired shiba inu. But then again, she's the only Shiba I've ever seen in real life so I don't know. They are very rare here where I am at. I think she will lose most of that hair when she starts shedding...

  • If you haven't yet, buy a Furminator brush. Shibas don't shed...they explode. :)

  • @dragonfly1030 LOL yea two time's a year !

  • Are there long haired Shibas? riceonfire's shiba has quite a bit more hair than mine. Especially in then neck/head area.
