Is this transposed down like the first act was ? Makes you wonder..? I really do not think She should be singing this if she needs to tranpose.. and frankly it sounds transposed to me.
Personally, I disagree, Callas remarked that this music should be sung like Mozart as both composers fall into the "classical" era of composition which is closer to belcanto in style than beethoven. I find this somewhat sloppy singing the intonation isn't what it should be. Anyway i hope i don't offend you.
wonderful voice lovely but she does not follow the rules of il bel canto but her acting is good and expresions... it takes a maria Callas to sing Medea but here Rysanek is wonderful
bella voce comunque e buona espressione

il solito terribile problema, la dizione sembra che canti sulle uova

Possibly the only singer who could do justice to this role after Callas.

¡¡¡ Rysanek en Una Impresionante y Electrisante Interpretacion !!! El dramatis-
mo y el patetismo que le imprime a su personaje es casi aterrador. Realmente
esta Soberbia.

Medea is not bel canto. One sings Medea as one sings Beethoven's Leonore.

This is terrible. Just like Norma or Traviata, nobody can reach the greatness and perfection of Callas in the demanding role of Medea.

this is AWFUL. She was astonishing, but this is NOT her role. Senta yes, Medea no.
