  • thank you for the video. it is wonderful that you were able to transport those people.

my brother and I were about a couple of miles away from the bridge when it fell.

when you think of all the bridges that are 8+ miles long, it's a damn shame that we couldn't maintain this little one! There are infrastructures all over the country that badly need maintenance and are being ignored.

  • Holy Shit. That was and still is a horrible tragity. Did they figure out how many people died yet?

  • good on u that u helped those 8 ppl.. and taking this footage..i know ABC news is wanting, like 15-45 second video comments or photos of ppl that lived there that took footage(i know this cuz one tht worked there sent a msg to me because of my video).. maybe u can send it to them and maybe tell ur story how u helped..

  • Although this was a very sad turn of events, you really can't blame anybody for this. The elements and time are to blame, not Bush, not Pawlenty.

Anybody who has ever taken this bridge during rush hour knows how busy that bridge is, and I find it miraculous that more people were not hurt/killed during this tragedy.

The families involved need your prayers, blaming government officials will not help anything--ever.

  • I agree!

  • George "The Idiot" Bush's warped priorities: Billions for Israel and Iraqi while neglecting our own infrastucture.

    Fuck you, Bush!

  • I wonder if Onstar still worked in the water

  • "I wonder if Onstar still worked in the water"

cruel and hilarious at the same time

  • What is it about Rt. 35? In 1962 the Silver Bridge collapsed at Point Pleasant, WV which was US 35. Is that a coincidence?

  • yes you fool

  • It's amazing things like this don't happen everyday all over this country!

As gas tax money gets dirverted for other causes, ALL gas tax money should be spent on the highway infrastructure rebuilding.

Just wait until one of New York's bridges falls into the river!

It's only a matter of time!

  • You're invited to watch my vlog about the Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis rt. 35

(I also have 1,100 other videos to choose from)

    See ya there,

    MysteryBot

  • Many bystanders helped just like you, and you are ANGELS! I think it shows what great people we have here in the twin cities, BLESS YOU!

  • I walk across that bridge semi daily
