@rocco64744 Yes, a bb is placed into the front of the shell and then fired. The shell is like a hollow tube that allows it to complete a seal. However re-usability isn't the problem...It's keeping track of all of your damn shells! They're too easy to lose, especially in the field.

this actually looks really nice. obviously this isn't something you'd use in to play airsoft, but it'd be great for movies and recreation. I own a couple airsoft handguns and don't really play, but sometimes I like to just set up a can or two and shoot them for fun. it's a toy, just like the name of the show it was shown at. looks like a fun toy though :)

Well, if you're rich as fuck and in for the fun, you can purchase enough of these as to resupply every time you play. Making them... disposable, if you may. And allowing you to skirmish with them. But, they're 20 bucks a box of 5, so I might pass on that one. Plus you'd also need magazines as these only fit like 6 or 8.

Anything that shoots a projectile faster than a certain rate of speed is illegal to sell to a minor.

Some use training real weapons armed with blanks and laser tag type gear equipped with special vests and other gear that let a soldier know when, where, and even how sever a soldier has been hit. But other times they use Paintball because it leaves a definitive kill mark. BB's simply bounce off.

For instance BOTH Rap4 and Opsgear HAve special forces swat and law enforcement training programs that utilize not airsoft but paintball gear. Opsgear even has several vids on Youtube showing it. Type in "The Urban Soldier Trailer" you will see a REAL military team in training using paintball gear.

Oh And make sure you actually watch the soldier training video and not the Defensive handgun course trailer. The Defensive Handgun trailer uses airsoft for basic handgun handling courses and target shooting because for one they aren't practicing Live combat , 2 they are only shooting at paper targets. And 3 plastic pellets are cheaper and recyclable, vs expensive one use paintballs. The Live combat training video uses paintball gear.
