i'm not trying to provoke an argument, but i think yours is a matter of opinion. the us attacked iraq because a) saddam hussein was inhuman and killed his own people and b) several countries believed him to have weapons of mass destruction. hindsight is always clearer; now it might seem like a bad decision, but then, we thought we had good reason.
