This game had potential. 2 things that killed it: Shitty ass controls (no jump button. in a platformer action game lol.) and over-reliance on QTE's; not the god of war "finisher" type, but the literally to do anything type that poo all over games.

Maybe in Sony's mind it too closely resembled God of War and that it would take away the uniqeness of god of war if there where multiple hevenly sword games. Who knows maybe Team Ninja/ Sony see more potential on the next Playstation. Example look at Killzone it started out on the ps2, then a few years later they release Killzone 2 on the ps3 and look at how much better graphics killzone 2 has compared to kilzon

I could see them releasing or at least saying that they are working on a sequel next year, by then God of War 3 will have been out for a year and they will have racked up some sales. If they dont come out with a sequal on the Ps3 they will most likely release it on the Ps4 because from what I have heard Sony worked really hard to make this game great. Why would Sony care so much about making this game great if they didn't expect it to have a sequel.

Good aspects - Many different attacks, very interesting characters, six-axis controlled projectiles, graphics, AI

Bad aspects - Story (debatable), limited camera control, memorizing combos, some button sequences require <.5 second reaction which results in missing the appeal of the action.

The good outweighs the bad. My favorite thing about HS is the characters. They will make you lol.

Biggest complaint would have to be camera control. There is virtually none.

I wish it was coming out with a heavenly sword 2, but with a different character and then in the 3rd heavenly sword you have to play 2 scenarios for story and the scenarios are nothing alike until the characters met up and fight each other{unlike devil may cry where the other scenario is the same as the 1st but backwards}
