@38GencFenerli As stated several times throughout the comments, I was recording the cutscenes so people could see the story - so I used a save where I had already beaten the game a few times, and forged a weapon that was +130 against every enemy type. ;) Not cheating, lots of hard work and running the clock up to 99 hours my last time through while training that sword.

A little sad that you started with already good stats and good weapons. Also, the music is a little out of synch compared to the original game, but i've myself not found a way to fix it too :)

Otherwise, nice replay ^^.

I was replaying mostly to capture the cinema scenes, and originally wasn't going to include any gameplay footage whatsoever. I quickly remembered that the bosses' appearances and deaths are pretty awesome, so left in the boss fights and the brief periods of running from one cut scene to another. ;) If I was trying to record an accomplishment, it wouldn't have been with this save.

An exquisite soundtrack to an equally superb game. Vagrant Story is what made me a fan of Hitoshi Sakimoto's music. He's a worthy successor to Nobuo Uematsu.

This game remains to be one of my favorites of all time. I am in no way a Square fanboy, but you can't deny that for it's time, this game was quite a bit ahead, for the most part. The combat system and massive replay value is what made this game so great for me.

Why are people saying the graphics aren't good? It looks about the same as MGS, if not a little better. Both of them look incredible. You can't expect it to be like Final Fantasy since everything is displayed in real-time.

I think FFXII is as close as we're going to get to a sequel/remake of this game. Indeed, many vistas, spells, names and weapons in FFXII were the source of great nostalgic pleasure on my part. I do realize the connection between VS and FFXII.

Huh? What the...how did...that...how did you kill that dragon with one hit? I played the game once, I didn't understand the gameplay at all, and I was literally one hit away from death before I killed that dragon.

After you've beaten the game, you can start again with all the stats and weapons you had at the end. I've gone through the game like this ... I think five times now. The save I used to go through this one, though, was after having gone through it twice, and the second time through I forged and trained a blade to be +100 vs. every enemy type. (Later I got a couple very rare gems to add to the hilt and made it +160 vs. everything...)

I knew Vagrant Story in April of the 2006, I fall in love with the game, the game is excellent, the game do not finish with spending it a single time, there are many objectives and secrets that to fulfill and to discover, for that reason you can even play it after passing it and several times, in those days wasn't videos of this HUGE GAME =( now I see that already there is =D
