listen im sure your annoyed by all of this but im going AFROTC by the time i go il have my private pilot license and my instrument rating what else do you recommend physically and academically.
I just got my pilot slot through AFROTC so will be going to pilot training shortly after I commission. To you tib194 it really makes no difference if you have your privates or not. I have only 6.2 hours and got my slot. A lot of people who get them don't even have any hours. The main thing is what your commander thinks of you, plus grades, physical training and how you do at Field Training.
I recommend not spending the 10k on getting your privates and instrument rating because it is not really worth it UNLESS you really want to have both of them. But, in pilot training in a weeks time everyone is on the same page with or without a privates.
