I think (and I can't stress that enough), that this is computerized.

See, this girl is the "poster girl" (for lack of a better term) of a special program that used an actual singer's voice to be able to recreate an actual word.

Sounds confusing? It actually isn't. Imagine the power text speech program (where you type in what you want), but instead of a weird computer voice, it's actually this girl's voice. Turns out they captured every possible syllable to do it!

Yeah, it is computerized. The 'poster girl' is named Miku Hatsune, and the computer program made a few others as well. They're called the Vocaloids.

I've been to a few different sites to watch anime, and for some reason, I keep seeing pictures of "miku" on there. I don't know why she's so famous.

Well in Japanese every possible syllable is 52 standard plus something like 10 or 15 non-native sounds (Va/Ve/Etc)

A lot easier than in English, where we have so many different syllables linguists haven't counted.

I think this version isn't that great. Some of the Miku songs are as good as a real person. Team Neko's version is way better.
