  • what about Qantas?

  • @legofreak1109 qantas feeds u

  • I want to fly with Cathay Pacific now.

  • has anyone had any worse flight journey than mine below I love too hear about it as I am so into flying food and everything that comes with what flight staff are like etc to flying illegally over airspaces that are flight is not consented togo over like I did lol

  • was not reasonably clean from previous flight from Cyprus it was really dirty actually then 2 hrs into the flight the captain said we were illegally going over Hungarian and Scandinavian airspaces illegally so we had have all nights out and have the window shutters down as we had to fly low so authorities below knew we were no treat I never experienced a flight like it plus instead of a 4 hr flight home it turned int 5 half flight instead lol it was a journey in a half I tell you LOL!

  • I remember on a airtours flight waiting to take after 8 hours to take off and we missed having tea just by a hr so instead we had one little sausage with very overcooked toms and few burned mushrooms and prior too our flight plane we were due to go home on went to Cardiff 4 hrs earlier instead and it nearly did not take off at all due too near full blown fight with the welsh plus no reps there as it was last of summer holiday season so no help around ether! plus the plane con't

  • Arab guy on Emirates ordered the seafood meals before the flight and now I do it every time. You get your food before everyone else and it's great!

  • When you fly with Luftansa you get REAL STAINLESS STEEL forks an knives!

  • *COUGH* Scandinavian Airlines *COUGH*

  • Cathay Pacific Airways offers the best airline food. It is really good!

  • @BookRocky24 Last time I flew them I was a little disappointed. It was very good but not outstanding. I like how you can get instant noodles anytime though!

  • way to go, american, delta, continental, united, us airways, etc!!!

  • irish flights dont give you shit...

  • The food money is "needed" for X-ray machines they radiate you with and personnel who sexually assault you. I wasn't born and raised in USA, so I should shot my mouth, but coming here 38 years ago, this wonderful country declined in much more than just the airline food. I am very sorry to say that, but these are just the facts.

  • My delta flight to moscow served 2 meals.. Not sure what this guy is talking about..

  • @TheSignXpress but i guess they were talking about american domestic flights within the country itself.

  • When I'm at work ....... or at my house ........ or on holiday ....... I go 4-5 hours without eating ....... so I have NO PROBLEM not having a meal served on a domestic flight within the States ...... as long as I can have a cocktail or a drink and a cup of coffee.

  • All of the American airlines suck as hell

  • yuck Ching Chong food

  • Philippines, Korean, Japan and Asiana airlines all have awesome food!

  • eat Qantas food. if you're vegetarian, they ask if you're vegetarian first. also Caribbean airlines. short flights food. long flights food+ dessert

  • Except Easyjet and Ryanair offer for-purchase only. Not even free drinks. e7,00+ for a so-so quantity meal may be outrageous, but given the location and view, it's alright.

  • I flew recently on Air Canada. They had food, but you had to pay for it. Because I was young and traveling alone and didn't have a credit card the stewardess was nice and just gave me food for free.

  • on TAP COACH/ECONOMY CLASS: a stale bread with carrot paste and 2 month old yougurt

  • @faridghani83 thnxxx !

  • Do Malaysia Airlines serve good food ?

  • @thefreak1299 yes!

  • Fuck you fatass! I'm not gonna bring food for you because your cheap ass doesn't want to buy something!

  • Emirates feeds you like a king I seriously didn't imagine airline food being restaurant quality

  • Singapore Airlines :D

  • cheep ass americans GO AIR CANADA!!!!!

  • Hooray for Singapore Airlines. :P

  • U.S.A's airlines are terrible. All of them

  • @KatiushaVN4 They are not alone to be like that spanish Airlines are worse like Iberia who is charging for the food.

  • i traveled in JAL and their airline food was AH-MAZING :D

  • i loves the flight meal in the british airway! when i fly to china! :)

  • Ch!na, woo-hoo, they are ama-za-zing!! :D i didnt know the food i eat on a plane comes from there....

  • Peter has 2 buttons undone, facial hair presence and some bad ass prescription glasses. Move over Wesley, Peter Greenberg is Passenger 69!!

  • my favorite part of the vid was hey slow it down lolol

  • i am shure Mr.Greenberg needs a Kosher diet

  • Well, God bless the Asians!

  • Don't go with Alitalia . you will die if not from their food ( smallest sandwich ever) for shure of their planes ( they still have 727's). In Europe Lufthansa is no1 . but if you are lucky you can find Emirates ( it is even better).

  • none of the airlines ever give you adequate sized portions i find. It's ok for a quick snack but they never quite feed you enough. It adequate but not enough to make you really feel like you have had enough to eat.

  • @1982FMJ well, I guess (specially in Canada or the U.S.) we should go to a Mc.Donalds, drive thru, eat on the way (make sure it is Super Sized), then (if lucky enough) will get fed on the flight...depends if they are the over-seas fights. :)

  • the evening meals on the European carriers going long haul to Africa, the Americas and Asia have improved a lot in the last 5 years or so, as has the entertainment. For someone like me who cannot sleep sitting upright, at least it's nice to watch movies through the night on your own personal screen these days. And if you ask the stewards nicely, they'll usually sneak you a few extra beers.

  • This is a true fact, Asian airlines take the hospitality of passengers VERY seriously, the food is great even in economy and entertainment is great as well.

  • @LadyLatias because having a good time cost nothing, you choose to have a good time everymorning when you awake. & airline food cost about $3 a meal to make in reality. there is no real reason not to feed people on a flight. then you have all the secret income from federal prisoners & air freight. airlines make money hand over fist , not to mention they only pay about 75 cents a gallon for fuel.

  • @circusboy90210 Not everyone has a choice in whether or not they can have a good time every morning when you wake up, what of people in poverty or in war devasted areas, they don't exactly have that choice. Saying that airline food costs $3 to make is also a stupid assumption, as is the whole 75 cents a gallon for fuel assumption. You try running a business like that and then you can come back and tell me you can do it that cheaply... after everyone has sued your ass for poor service that is.

  • @LadyLatias I"m sorry your life is in such a state that you feel you can not be happy every day. how much money you have has very little to do with your state of mind. I wake up penniless many day's knowing I will still eat that day . for your friends in war torn areas I feel truly for them but they caused that themselves. they should have overthrown their corrupt gov.

as for the food/fuel cost that is not an assumption but a reality. I know many facets of the industry from being around it.

  • @circusboy90210 as far as poor service we in the us pay for inferior service by not getting a meal when it cost less than nothing to make an airline meal. $3. this has nothing to do with making a profit or maintenance. you are also ignoring the fact the passenger is not the main source of revenue for the airlines. there are other sources of revenue that dwarf the passenger revenue stream.

  • @circusboy90210 I was just making a statement originally that most Asian Airlines I've flown on are much better then the American ones I've flown with, you didn't have to get all angsty on me. =/

  • @LadyLatias sorry you took it that way. it's just that skimping on a few cents worth of food while aquiesing to the tsa , cooking the books. & claiming a business loss is not a good biz model. us airlines are far from loosing money. that's the insult usa is still #1 in many things starving passengers is not a good way to show it. loving you & I don't even know you.

  • Singapore Air all the way!!

  • i had pizza flying with British airways to miami once best flight ever free upgrade to business because they double booked my seat

  • the moral of the story is that someone is lying to you about howmuch it cost to run an airline & sucking billions of subisidies down while your starve on a flighth that is way overpriced.

  • @circusboy90210 Amen, brother.

  • @Mindraker1 flew last monday on Delta, now they are in violation of Federal law . they refuse to accept legal tender being paper currency. I would love for someone in the federal gov would force them to accept what is legal tender for all debts of which food on a plane is either a private or public debt. people with no credit should be able to purchase food on a plane.

  • @circusboy90210 Even if the US airlines were to suddenly become as good, efficient, and polite as the Asian airlines tomorrow, the social and economic stigma that the airlines have suffered will carry with them for decades.

Compare the notion of Swiss Army knives being "well made". They always have been; quality is associated with the notion of "Swiss Army Knife".

  • Not all foreign airlines feed you well Iberia is charging for the food.

  • america sucks..........

  • airlines in asia are the best at food and entertainment when it comes to airlines

  • I flew on united airlines......Business class, and the food was utter rubbish!!! A very poor steak and hard vegetables but and they ran out of my wine that they said they had on the menu!!! Was not happy with the level of service either as the crew were not very fothecoming with the free alcohol!!! NEVER AGAIN WITH UNITED! Waste of fucking money!

  • Lufthsansa has very good food in coach. I was shocked too!

  • Taking food and drinks out of airplanes is the trend all over the world not only in the US. Sadly, most airlines are becoming low-cos (high fares)t

  • I cant help but notice that alot of your airline help videos seem to cater for pathetic problems/issues an overweight, impatient man would have.

  • Funny the little differences. Shopping is awesome in the US, but this is one thing they don't do right. Lufthansa always has awesome food. Ur lucky to get a bag of nuts US domestic.

  • Americans are cheap ass mofos that try to make every cent of profit from your $1000+ airline tickets.

  • @sylvur Isnt making money beautiful

  • @sylvur Sorry it's not that they are cheap ass mofos, it's that they are greedy mother fucking bastards

  • @sylvur thats true everywhere here... the funny thing is no one wants to vote on a bill giving the poor money but they still expect them to pay. how smart is that?

  • @sylvur air kanada how would you like your seal steak

  • sick im taking lufthansa tommorow :D

  • Yes, Cause there gonna starve paying customers....... Really?

  • best airline food i had was in AIRFRANCE they served the best cheese, and beef i have ever had (no joke) French Airlines are the best at feeding you right!

  • I've never had an inflight meal, but then all of the flights i've been on have only lasted under 2 hours.

  • coach food?

  • This is one reason I avoid United States airlines (with the possible exception of Continental) like the plague. Their values on food and hospitality are atrocious.

  • It's no luck flying to/from Hong Kong. Their foods are sloppily prepared and disgusting

  • @KatiushaVN4

    I sense racism..

  • Continental serve pretzels.......

  • Dear All,

I have some question about psychology:

    (1) Why do we feel that inflight meals are special?

    (2) Why do we love to eat at 38000 feets high?

    (3) What will inflight meals look like in 50 years from now?

    (4) What will be the best food for commercial space travel?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • @applesweeter 1:It dosent taste like crap.

    2:Nice view.

    3:Better.

    4:Chicken.

  • @Bendikoro

About question 3, what will the new features and new food appear in the furture inflight meal?

  • Comment removed

  • @applesweeter

    1) I think it's because on long haul flights you do need to eat hot food. On short flights within US & Europe you can make do with a bag of peanuts.

    2) ties in with question 1 really & also frequent flyers just do it out of habit and even perhaps to fit in with the crowd, i.e. you dont want to be the only one not gobbling down airline food.

    3) similar to today

    4) anything warm that you can eat out of a paper/plastic wrapping (due to the weightlessnes), so burgers, pies, etc.

  • I've experienced the most delicious food ever not only in my flights but life, while I recently was going to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines..OMG..Looking forward to go with Turkish Airlines again

  • That old man speaks very stupid...In fact, you gonna eat not only flight to HK but anywhere in the world except in U.S.A

  • Emirates serve restaurant quality food, the Arab airlines in general and many Asian carriers are very very good, way ahead of their European and American counterparts.

  • Avoid US carriers for the long haul and pretty much u are guaranteed meals/drinks and unlimited snacks.

If u looking for quality look no further than Qatar,Emirates,Singapore,Cathay Pacific in that order.

  • The carriers wich one's I see in your comment, they serving the U.S.A.

  • Arab airlines serve the best food.

  • @helmuthoorn nope~

my airline serves the best food~

  • @helmuthoorn Jet star only sserves sandwitches .__.

  • oh i have to fly with cathay next time, but qatar is also great and food is also greatttttttttttttt

  • Flights out of Hawaii to the mainland U.S. still serve meals. Just to get from Honolulu to L.A. takes about five hours. In 2009, I flew on Northwest from HNL to Atlanta, from Atlanta to Tennessee, and from Tenn to Mobile AL in less than one day; had one full meal and two light meals.

  • i love airline food, and the last time i flew was with cathay pacific and it was bloody great, as was everything else

  • "Airline food" an Oxymoron ? Military Intelligence yes or good governance but not airline food.

  • lol yeah - i agree with you!

  • Yea baby !! Cathay pacific !!

  • Singapore Airlines is better I think.

  • Both are good =D

  • If both are good, they beat Air Canada, Air Transat and Aeroflot.

  • id much rather have a microwaved pie than eat airline food

  • dont listen to this dirty jew

  • continental airlines isnt known for very good inflight food on its flight from london to houston but they do cheap flights so you can't complain too much. I though getting from heathrow to denver via houston for £500 was quite reasonable

  • I wouldn't eat from a Mexican or African airline, not in a racial way its just lots of parasites and disease's in these two countries and can be very dangerous.

  • Some african airlines are safe like South African Airways and Royal Air Maroc.

  • you have no idea what you're talking about...

  • @ xbxfilms, what rubbish saying that South Africa has a lot of parasites and diseases in their food. Perhaps you should venture beyond your own borders to see that South Africa has extremely high food quality (unlike amy other African nations) and where the food is just fine.

  • american flights suck :( you get more swine flu...lol

  • Yes ,Air France has great food, and so do the brazilian airlines.

Flying domestic inside Brasil, any short flight has great food. And coming back from there on the american airlines, the food is better too because they prepare it there!!

  • That's not what I've experienced in 4 brasilian domestic flights...

  • Stay the hell away from Scandinavian Airlines!

  • I've been on many different European airlines, Alitalia had the best food. Finnair was very good too.

  • Finnair is the official airline of the Santa Claus. HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO.

  • japan air sucks my service was slow there run outta food half way in coach not fun..........

and i ahve to eat snack for 9 hours

  • Peter, tooooootally agree with you. Cathay Pacific is the BEST in coach class food!!!

  • I flew ORD-LHR in coach last summer on American Airlines and they did provide food, but it was pretty cheap and stereotypical. However on the return trip in coach from Madrid on Iberia the food was surprisingly adequate and tasty.

  • i fly constantly and I have to agree with this video clip. US based airlines are really at the bottom compared to international airlines, low-coast european airlines are far better the domestic US airlines.

  • Its the same for Air Canada and Air Transat but in Canada we have a airline who feed well and its a Sunwing Airlines.

  • Yes but Iberia, Finnair and SAS Scandinavian Airlines charge you for the food.

  • True, American-based airlines have gone so cheap... one tried charging people to use the toilet. How friggin' cheap can you get?

  • DO NOT Eat the food dat u get with British Airways On a 737 to Shipol and Heathrow cos i wen coach to heathrow to catch a Long-Haul 747 to Toronto pearson, fill ur self up at the airport, but lucly i was flyin biz class so eat then i got Lunch,Dinner and breakfast on da flight and it was AMAZING.

  • Monarch airlines makes the best damn dinners and breakfests!

  • yea cathay has the best food and service.

  • I travel all the time and unless you want to be blindly patriotic our airlines SUCK! Singapore, Cathay, Malaysia, etc. Put us to shame! Food, great entertainment, + usually friendly!

  • When I go to Ireland on Aer Lingus they always have hearty meals with rolls, Irish butter, and nice deserts.

And they also give you a light breakfast before landing.

It's the same with SAS to the Scandinavian countries.

  • Cheers popeye we do aim to please!

  • OMG thats sad not to feed people :(

I recommend ppl to travel with Air Pacific, if going to Aussie, NZ or the pacific...Fijis International Airline will be pleased to help anyone especially mothers, women and children. We dont wanna see any one starving, great crew, great delicious fiji meals and awesome people...nice tropical atmosphere with Air Pacific Fiji :))

  • This video reminds of when I was a flight attendant for a U.S. airline in the 1980s when we served everyone a meal except for flights under 45 minutes - even then everyone offered a least a drink. Back then, people complained constantly about airline food - but now, they don't have much of a choice - either BYO or buy some cardboard cr*p to eat. You never miss a real good thing until it says 'goodbye'. Bon appetit (economy) to any U.S. airline passenger!

  • Probably because asian do practice hospitality. That is why most asian airlines feed you well.

  • correct.

  • @asimonelove12 asians are big on food. just be happy that u dont have to take ur shoes off before gettin on the airplane,

  • @TearGasBaby I won't mind though... =)

  • cathay pacific has good catering services

  • I went on cathay to hong kong and the food was real good and they even had snacks 24/7 throughout the flight!

  • 3 1/2 hour flight to Chicago, AA gives you NOTHING. Most US-owned airlines suck anyway.

  • WHAT??? You gotta be kidding me??? When you are flying from Hamburg to Munich within Germany, you get food and free refill drinks... 45min flight! Lufthansa is the best thats why all American airlines are broke

  • Well we don't give you nothing there's a beverage Lmao....

  • The only thing I've gotten on a plane was peanuts and a coke :(

  • Same... =[

  • Dont all airplanes serve food? i mean if they are for a long distance

  • Aeromexico too. When I got on flight Monterrey to Mexico City they did served me meals. Even in Korean Air and Asiana. Asiana even offers night brunch. Los Angeles to Seoul.

  • gosh i'm riding a 10 or 11 hour flight and they are only serving me dinner when i get on the plane like 10:00 pm (i'm going to Brazil on United!) what about breakfast?

i get there like in the morning.

  • I wouldnt expect food on a domestic flight, just my peanuts and beer. give me my peanuts and beer and i'm happy

  • In air france or klm transatlatic you get ok meals in coach and free wine and beer all you can drink, i'm always drunk on my montreal-paris or montreal-amsterdam flight

  • i like china now lol feed me and ill love u

  • Thomson fly food is yummy even in econamy (Coach)

  • Correct, I fly every year somewhere, usually Europe and rarely fly with a domestic carrier, due to their arrogance and lack of service.

The only crappy airline in Europe is Alitalia, Air France is not far behind, but still acceptable on their trans Atlantic lines. My Favorites are Lufthansa and KLM, as even on their short, regional lines, they serve a decent meals.

I guess Asia is similar to Europe in service, as I take form all the comments here. Thanks for the video.

  • the food can make or break an airline... its funny that airlines from developing countries like india have better food and service...

problem with the usa is those ppl are in unions so its hard to get fired and most of your airfare goes to pay the employees. and in the usa if an airline does badly the govt just bails them out anyways...

  • All Chinese airlines serve food on demestic flight, even for a 2 hr short flight.

  • fly jet airways for 1 hour and you get a beer and a meal...in coach!

  • I've rarely had good food on Lufthansa.

  • i barely got served food and drinks on Lufthansa

  • Air canada is shit

  • Hell yeah been there once and was I like what the fuck no food damn!

  • So is British airways, The worlds shittiest airline

  • Air Transat is a bigger shit than British Airways.

  • Japan Airlines has spectacular inflight service and food. Cathay's catering is also awesome, both here in vancouver and the main one in HKIA.

  • I took a short flight from Taipei to Hong Kong on China Airlines and I received a free full meal. The only airline here in the States that is comparable is Southwest with the Snack Box. Other than that it's just drinks and occasionally peanuts.

  • These drinks are not free on Southwest flight.

  • actually on short flights on lufthansa u just get a free sandwich and drinks the sandwiches r good though and the service faultless

  • The same thing happened in Australia. Five different budget carriers fly to Australia and they don't have food on the plane- you have to either pay or bring your own. Imagine if United stops serving food on every flight- and you have to pay on long flights. I would not fly that airline again if that happened.

  • If United do that they could have trouble to compete with other airlines.

  • why is this such a revelation to americans?

  • Maybe the domestic airline industry has come to realize, that the flying public at large, needs to skip a few meals once in a while.☺

  • cool!

    Lufthansa is best!!!

  • Asiana Airlines serves the best economy class food in my opinion!

  • Greenberg, please go jump in a deep lake.

  • Midwest Airlines still serves decent meals on any flight longer than 2 hours.

  • singapore airlines always mangaes to serve food.

  • Good food at that

  • wtf they didnt mention korean airlines. they feed u very well. i have very hirrible men=mories on delta. $5 for a peanut butter and jelly

  • american airlines

$5.00 for a sick turckey sandwitch limited

  • I watched probably all of the vids of this guy and I found them REALLY something fresh and new with a fun-usability aspect. Really great stuff you post. Thx!

  • Isn't America's problem too much food though? Personally, I think if you are going to put the weight on the plane, put books on, not food. Ban the boredom eating!
