Because the choice of fingering has a subtle effect on articulation, dynamics and rhythm, and therefore using the early 17th century fingering is the best way to reproduce the effect expected by the composer.

Letteralmente una "passeggiata" tra le note, anche se la posizione delle dita "ad artiglio" mi sembra enormemente scomoda... Buon lavoro!
