israel removed its settelements from gaza and part of the west bank. they were going to do the same in all the west bank but then hamas took over gaza and started firing rockets.

The Bible is originally written in Hebrew, if I'm correct. But in the run of years it's been translated in many languages so many countries in the world can read it. Too many people especially in America do not understand the Palestinians side of the story. All too often parts of their media depict Arabs as violent and unreasonable. Why make their job easy? The whole crisis in Gaza is a religious matter. Muslims believe that Israel is their country and the jews are the occupants. The jews however believe Israel has always been their land and will always be. And they believe the muslims are the occupants.
Hamas simply wants all jews be killed or out of Israel so they can take over Israel and turn it into a muslimstate. That's I think the whole idea, the whole point.

Hamas isn't exactly peaceful either. We've seen that all over the news too, for at least 10 years. Israel is just defending itself, not attacking. And I think Israel has had enough patience with Hamas. But Hamas keeps on going and going and going. No wonder Israel reached a point that it says 'Enough'. However, I don't disagree with the way Israel is dealing with the problem now. Cos a lot of innocent Palestinians are killed too.
