I, like several people, wonder why they're lip-syncing when we KNOW they can sing, but whatever.

This is simply the normal recording, what they play on the radio and such. Watch Lady Gag's video, then this one, and you should see that this is the same recording, just echoier.

I've now listened for at least the fifth time and I promise you, it is not Lady GaGa; maybe you should write to the producers of Glee Live so they can tell you that them self. Besides the fact that it is very clearly different vocalists singing, as well as a man's voice doing the main backing... GaGa would never use diction as bad as that.

Saw the show live in LA. This song WAS definitely lip-synched, with a few live elements (Kurt: "Cos I'm a freak baby!"). BUT the rest of the show was definitely live, and they sounded great - so this was all forgivable, as they were putting on one hell of a performance!

I just think its weird that with some of the dance moves they do their voices don't waver not even 1 second. If they were singing, we'd hear heavy breathing along with. On the show they don't have that problem because they have multiple takes, they can rest and catch their breath in mid-song, etc.

But the Glee kids aren't performers, they're actors and actresses who, as part of their current roles, do some singing and such. I say the same for the people who usually just sing, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Madonna, etc... Anyone who doesn't dance professionally I find has the excuse to allow lip-syncing, at least during more physical performances. It takes years of dance training to add singing.
