wow , thanks for sharing this....you have just confirmed two things for me ...'don't touch without permission' YAY! and that people have the right to say no,....my 'boyfriend' thinks I have no right to refuse his advances because 'we r boyfriend/girlfriend'' ....o god , gimme a break.'If I love him , I would do ....' blah blah blah.

What if you are walking on eggshells with a parent who is dependent on you. You can't get out of the relationship because you have duties to care for your parents.

@wsjulz I nursed my mother for 10 years truly believing she was ill. I needed to give her what she needed, or, if this did not happen or i was not doing well enough although I tried, I got anger and rage. She turned out to have NPD and that there basically nothing was really wrong with her. No matter if parents have NPD or not, - if one is taking care of them and you STILL have to walk on eggshells, you are being used and your needs not respected!! Stand up for what you need! It is your right!

This is the BEST video on boundaries that I've come across....!! Now, Victoria, can you share some exercises with us or give us a website for "boundary exercises"? I have a few I find helpful, as a teacher, that many healers and teacher use. I'd like more! There are ways to protect oursellves before teaching people with unhealthy boundaries. You've given hints, but do you know: the mirror exercise; the whitelight exercise, and others like it?
