  • Wow i'm seriously jealous of your agile fingers:)

  • i played this in 4th grade i remember being so excited to learn it XD i didn't like the octave part cause it made my fingers hurt o.O oh and i think you should've of lightened up on the sustain pedal considering its mozart :P but great all the same

  • Not bad, but most of Mozart's piano music didn't really require a sustain pedal of any kind. At the same time you have every right to use the sustain pedal while playing this piece, but keep in mind it takes away from the authenticity of this piece, and what Mozart had originally intended.

  • Heard this played many times, played it myself, and you really do it justice... well done! Your technique is very clean.

  • how can somebody vote negative ?? seriously ?? agry with chriswest30 : the best rendition on youtube !!

  • Better then Mozart and Beethofen at the same time :D

  • Just one word: WOW!!

Give it some more feelings and dynamic and it will be a world-class performance.

  • i love the little head nod at the end! it was cute :)

  • This is piece is so amazing, it's always been my fav. You are wonderful, your hands just glide lightly over the keys it's stunning, thank you for sharing ;D

  • Not my favorite peice of classical music but you played it very well

  • you should work out some more (:

  • amazing, awsome and great!!

  • peoploe who disliked!

    Why?

I mean in some parts it was not that clean, but anyways he plays greatly, would ya explain why disliked?

  • @InfiniteDesign91

Some people hit dislike just to get reactions like yours. I do it often on other sites. BTW, just for you I thumbed down your comment.

Now if there are 100 likes and 10000 dislikes, then the general public dislikes what you did, which is not the case here.

  • you are an incredible pianist, you make it look it easy.

  • i need help for the part 0:58 - 1:38. i know the notes but i cant play it properly. i miss some notes or one hand plays faster than the other. how can i do it better?

  • @dprodani just try to play this part many times and REALLY slow. Revision, especially SLOW revision always helps. I hope I helped too.

  • amazingggg, :)

  • too fast as for me

  • U play with no emotion!!! LIKE A ZOMBIE

  • Es la mejor version que he escuchado nunca!!

  • good play on piano you are good

  • io la suono meglio

  • i just discovered david, saw most of his postings and ended up crying!!!! god he is brillant, a virtuoso, thank god you still send people like him to the world

  • no sound control in third you have to play softer

  • Excellent. You have a flair for Mozart.

  • bravo !

  • pedal abuser!!

  • For your methods, you are talented, but in most of your recordings (in my opinion, and I am speaking directly to the performer)you ignore many dynamic changes or intricate details which help to portray the composer's original message, and in this you have failed. I won't bother singing praises as you only need to look on the page, but this is just something that I do not like about your playing.

  • There you go again! Another faultless piece of playing showing great technical ability. Lay off the pedal a tad, though - remember, this is Mozart, a sustaining pedal simply didn't exist in the way we know it today on our modern instruments. You have the ability to do without so don't "sell out"

  • @longeaton34 so where's your upload of a perfect rendition? it's easier to criticize than to teach.

  • Великолепно! Браво!!!

  • cool

  • i've tried to learn it as i'm also self taught but my laziness spoiled everything. by the way, good performance =)

  • sounds off with the pedal, but still good

  • CountChocular, why is this spam? what a great compliment. i don't understand why he made your comment spam when it's a good one.

  • i wish i could do that. i wish i could play the piano, but i´m not talented in playing an instrument.

  • go fist your father like you always do... i guess thats your talent.

  • well if youre 13 then dont use bad words like that. people wont respect you and in todays society swears have no power anymore

  • when u compare this to when i play it im strait shit...

    u rock man

  • tu es devennu mon dieux du piano ;)

  • When did Tom Green get so good at Piano? awesome work man

  • i play piano and i can this song to the half but i love you!!!

  • Dude, You are fucking awesome... I can't believe it.... In one of your videos you did a nine minute solo with absolutely no music.....

Jesus Christ you are an ABSOLUTE genius!

  • v.good but in my opinion u use too much ped.

  • it might be caused by cameras mic quality. Live performing would be fuckin, freakin, amazing awesome. hehe, and ofcourse I won't hide my jealousy for his playing. he rocks my head off

  • hes the only one ive ever seen on youtube thats has absolutly no negativ comments on his clips!

(besides those that only a few ppl saw)

nice work and good choice of music!!

  • i am in love with you. all your videos are fantastic. well done sir.

  • wkdangel is right, you hit the keys so effortlessly. great performance!

  • i freaking love this your awsome

  • aweshome

  • complimenti

  • you make it look so easy and your hands seem to play so lightly! It's great!

  • bravo

  • Waow... ! Ca motive vraiment à s'entrainer pour pouvoir [un jour...] avoir ton niveau !!

L'espoir fait vivre comme on dit... :) Merci, et bravo !

  • Je ne me lasse pas ! Encore bravooooooo !! A quand un concert dans le sud de la France ???

  • You are very talented.

  • Ah this song was a nightmare for me. I could play it perfectly, but not under pressure. Whenever I had to perform it I'd make so many ridiculous mistakes. :(

    Awesome job man

  • the best rendition you will find. Been playing this for 10 years, never once flawless like this.

  • @chriswest30 ...you surely must be joking

  • that was beautifully amazing!

  • Wow

  • Bravo! i love ur rendition. very well played. only one small point. i think that Rondo alla Turca is a piece that requires crispness (to my taste anyway) and i think the reverb in ur room does not allow this. try lining ur room with pillows or something. also watch ur pedaling. but overall very nice

  • you're one of the best on youtube like your videos SOO much man ^^ !!

XD

  • bravoooooooooo ! c'est génial ! j'adoooore

  • Outstanding.

    Better than any other rendition.

  • hahahahahahah this is soooooooooo coool!!!!!!

  • You've got the skills, and I know that when I hear you play, you've got relaxed fingers. That is important! :)

  • Ha :D I just played that at a concert!

Now, you did it superbly, nothing much to say. But it's a very aggressive piece of music, play it a little more aggressive, but still maintaining the aesthetics of the Vienna-theme.

I think it was made, after Mozart had composed a musical about a Turkish prison watcher, who swore a lot. Very aggressive thing. Try to keep that in your mind, it'll get even better just then!

    Keep up the good work!

  • phenomenal... and i mean.... phenomenal

  • Haha, the piano face ^^

    Very well played.

  • You're a musical genius!

  • what is with the beard but great playing

  • eleman iyi çalıyo tamamdır onun olayı

  • ppff your such a god on the piano .. agian ... you are the best HOME pianonist I know on youtube .... well done WOW men ..

  • Wow...compared to me... I suck

  • Enjoy your life, and your liberty.

  • this is too eres mui bueno congratulation

  • Have you ever been to Dachau? Or Auschwitz? And can you even play the piano. What a moronic cretin you are.

  • DO some excercise arggg!! steroids >P just kidding i can play this piece aswell is really esi he can play harder pieces like moonlight wow O.o

  • Just look at his fingers and you'll see how real his playing is. And if you don't, you know nothing about piano.

  • ehm.. this is perfect and fake?? I hope you are kidding? I haven't even learned piano from a teacher, but I played it just as good as this, or maybe better.. So..

  • complimenti per l'interpetazione!!Sei un grande!!Una saluto dall'italia!!

  • fuck

  • I hope you're kidding. I mean, well, the holocaust could have very well been fake, but this is 100% real!

  • This is the actual song too!

I have this exact sheet music, it's awesome and very hard.

  • You are amazing...enough said

  • Well, it can be called either. As long as you mention Mozart and Turkish / Turca, most people will know what you mean :)

Strictly speaking, it's the third movement (alla Turca: Allegretto) of Piano Sonata No. 11 (K331)

Apparently, it imitates the sound of a Turkish marching bands, which were popular in Vienna / Saltzburg in about 1783.

Although I have to admit I first encountered it via the computer game Lemmings (Sorry!)

    (The wonders of Wikipedia!)

  • dude i thought this was called turkish march o.O

well besides my stupidity ur awsome!

  • You are a joy to listen to! What kind of piano do you have?

  • exellent!!!!!!!!!! i love your interpretation of this piece!!!!

  • The right hand is a crisp clear melody

  • jamjam

  • mendelsshawn - the pedal is in fact used in alla turca. Trust me, when i was learning this piece it sounded so dry and horrible without the pedal. My teacher told me to use very little pedal. I think it sounds wonderful...

  • One word... wow! That was amazing. That's exactly how I picture Mozart playing this. keep it, this is amazing. I remember learning this piece, took me half a year to master it lol.

  • I bet your the same level as MOZART! You rock dude. <<<My opinion

  • what a stupid thing to say :D

  • exellent¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡wonderfull¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • lets see you put up a video better than this. stupid cunt

  • amazing

  • I made a few comments about a year ago on this piece. However, I'd like to amend them.

I LOVE your interpretation of this piece. You play with such grace and fluidity.

Not only that: after a year of looking at renditions of this piece, yours is STILL the best out of all of them (in my opinion).

I've looked at your other pieces and you do a great job with them too. You have a wonderful gift. I hope to see more from you in the future. =)

  • Good job, I wish to play like you but I'm not born musician like you.

  • I absolutely love this song and you play it really good!

  • [*****]

  • Bravo.

I'm going to be using this to help me learn this song.

    excellent.

  • So flowing. My version of this is absolutely terrible. You have such a talent. Your music is lovely to listen to and preferable to struggling to get any of the notes right on my piano keyboard. Bravo!

  • bravissimo

  • beautiful..

  • awesome I love this song but how come you didn't use the dynamics?

  • Very well done! One of the best I've heard. You're probably the first person on Youtube who has played this properly. No 6 year old prodigys that make mistakes, no idiots who play it backwards... Thank-you for reintroducing simplicity.

  • stupid ass we all are here to watch him play and enjoy the video not to compare

  • The first step to the next level is comparing SWATTalpha007, but not by saying who is better Renan, but by comparing different aspects like: technique, dynamic contrast, tone contrast, etc.

  • well write comparations in other video not here, people are enjoying the video so dont screw it out.

  • marry me

  • very good, respect! i play this piece with the same tempo but i always get a cramp in my right hand at 1:20 xDD

  • You have really good fingers, you should play more Mozart.

  • That was bloody brilliant! (sorry for my language, but it seems appropriate here. :))

  • Haha You Brits! :D "Bloody" isn't profanity! Now get off your bloody arse and grab your flash torch! Help me find my trousers before Mum wakes up so we can go grab some bangers and mash! =*) I'm only joshing. Sorry, I have had quite a bit of ale, and this is a jolly song. I miss my British friend :(

  • it was perfect. One of the best Ive heard.

  • j'adore

  • Perfeito, tocas melhor do que eu.

    Que inveja! Virei seu fã.

  • SO muss das sein!! best version on youtube in my opinion...ich bin begeistert:)

  • freakin awesome

  • two last notes are the same. the second isn't longer than first

  • did u kno that he plays by ear?!

  • really i play by ear but no way near as good as that has he ever had piano lessons?

omg he is amazing could listen to him all day

  • i dont kno about lessons.. but i kno that he plays by ear

  • tarara :P

  • Ouiiiiiin ! Je suis dégoutée ! Moi je suis en train de galérer dessus la 4e page ! Et là, c'est parfait, c'est magnifique, c'est aérien, c'est fluide, c'est splendide !

Je suis dégoutée XD Bravo ^^!!

  • man, i love all yours videos!

  • Well done...one of the better versions by a soloist.

  • wow david jsavais pas ke tu jouais celle la!! jte jure un jour jvais envoyer un video kan je la jou!!

  • very good...please watch my alla turca

  • Nice interpretation of the piece. Very skilled playing indeed. :D

  • This guy is incredible! All by ear!!

  • don't use the pedal during the allegreto until the sharps!!

  • I just can't stop hearing it!!

  • brilliant David!!!!!!!

  • well, what can i say? awesome!

  • Amazing. You're very talented. Nobody can say otherwise, except maybe Mozart himself, and I, personalll think he would like this. Very impressive.

  • awesome job man. I played this piece a long time ago and urs sounded so much better i'm jealous!

  • That was excellent, very fluid. I can also play this, but...I don't think as good as you. I notice you use the pedal more than other people, and some people in other videos criticize this. I'm against it, I also use the pedal a lot in this piece.

Other than that, impressive. Keep it up you're really good.

  • That really was amazing! ;D

  • This is so good

  • I can't stop looking at your fingers. Truly amazing!

  • awesome job!

  • Very nice!

  • finally someone who focuses on a nice piece and does not try something too hard for its level

excellent performance, this pice is perfectible and you have almost nailed it (maybe only a bit of tempo acceleration, as it has already been pointed out, in the third section) really few mistake

the finale was not that brighlt frased... not flawless though

best mozart's turkish march on youtube, plainly

  • Who cares if you try to play a piece over your level. Playing the piano can be a hobby, and not a job, can't it?

  • :D

    wonderful! :D

i played it not so good ^^

  • Bah!It just gives a little ''concert hall'' effect!(accent pedal)The playing is realy good!

  • Great job!

  • pipperz is right, you did seem to speed up a bit in the 3rd section, I was dancing along but was thrown off a bit ^^; You play extremely well and it is the best piano turkish march I've heard on youtube ^^ Great job!

  • Is it just me, or is he using accent pedal?

  • WotGoPlunk I think it's just you LOL

  • He was using the accent pedal in some spots.

  • Bravíssimo! Wonderfully played!

  • bravo

  • exellent playing

  • that was nearly perfect...WOW

  • this is ..... holy! pretty damn near perfect... i'm not going to say perfect cause there isn't such a thing. You sorta sped up during the 3rd section. I can play this too, and i know how hard it can be to hit those running notes... but damn! Good job :)

  • joooder perfectisimo! yo la esoty empezando y me cuesta lo deee do re do si la si la sol fa...

y el final de las octavas separadas...qiero tocarla asi...

  • ur just amazing i watched all of ur vids :) mwah <3
