Yeah, that was the first problem I encountered when i started this. i would constantly pull the bars out of the holes. Making the stops was an easy quick fix.
Also notice that because I have an undertray fitted to the bike, the original plastic container is gone. What you see on the video is a self made box made out of 1mm sheet-aluminium.
The crossmember is factory welded to the rear frame.
It's what the stock tail-plastic box would normally be mounted to.

did you weld or drill to place the crossmember flat piece of metal between the 2 frame pieces?

good job! i like the addition to the stops preventing the round-bar from being pulled too far and out of the holes.
