I really liked this. I in no way thought it was surypy and unrealistic. I'm assuming that people who feel that way have not been exposed to someone w/disabilities. As a parent of a child with special needs, I am constantly inspired by my son who has to overcome obstacles just so he can be considered delayed; it takes him 3x as long to do what others do with ease. It's not fair to him, but he obviously just pushes forward. I appreciate you putting something out there like this.
This was warm and inspiring and a good message for kids of all ages. I love the opening credits shots. I wish the end graphics were up a little longer, but I figure you sped it up for time.
I honestly thought it was very slow. It's great that you honored Juanita and handicapped peoples' roles in the world and how God works in their lives. (I enjoyed seeing Alice, too. :) ) Then at the end where Juanita's accomplishments are highlighted, it went by so fast I didn't get to read through it before the page turned. Good idea for a story, though. I enjoy seeing the videos you make. Keep up the good work!
Sorry, but I thought it was way to surypy and unrealistic. I do not think anyone will believe it. It sounds like something a parent would make their child say to be "nice."
Not sure what you mean. We didn't have any baseballs or mismatched socks or even strange dialogue lines. But we do have three elements from this year (2009) : sunrise at the beginning, binoculars in Juanita's lap, and Dutch angle on the goalie. Thanks for watching!
Interesting...a different sort of entry. I was impressed with the use of the old security elements, although I didn't see all of the new ones (I wasn't looking too closely, though.) Was the music composed during the 36-hour period? Overall good cinematography and direction, not to mention typography of the titles and credits. I wish I had been there...
Beautiful... so inspiring!

Paul - Great job, but I think somehow you used last year's security elements.

I don't know how I missed those. Great job - you made them so un-obvious that I missed them altogether. :)

John Doryk provided us with the perfect bit of music for the feel we were going for.
