Works like a charm: 1.16.65 on just 2 tries.

On my first try I ran into a dead end and got killed by the first juggernaut. On my second try my face didn't go bloody red once, 0 kills, 3 flashbangs.

Some rumors say the AI can't handle more than 50 enemies at one. Since you only kill a few in the first part, all the enemies are animated back there and they cannot respawn in the second area.
