  • this dude rocks

laughed when his glasses fell off rock on dude

  • lol awesome!

  • I spelt it "ukelele"? Apologies! I blame the insomnia...

  • That's actually an acceptable alternate spelling. However, you did spell "spelled" incorrectly. :P

  • Leeds doesn't have talent, but this is pretty damn close. ;)

I don't know why I like it, but I do! I think it's genius and will be buying a ukelele even if just for ornamental value soon.

  • DaveCUFC Many thanks for your kind comment, if I inspire just one person my job here has been done. In the video I'm playing a Lanikai LU-21CE, the E stands for electric only £100 so go for it because this life isn't a dress rehearsal you know. They're easy to play I had only been playing the uke for only 9 months when this gig took place.

  • Hello! I bought a ukulele, just a cheap one and have had fun with it. Thanks.

  • Fantastic, I've inspired one person to play ukulele. I really do wish that you have as much fun with the ukulele as I do, now get learning some songs and start putting some smiles onto peoples faces, you will find it very rewarding I promise you. I played at an old peoples rest home recently and the atmosphere was electric, old people can really rock. Good luck with it DaveCUFC.

  • YAYY :D imma try this on my uku :D

  • Hey that's great that you wanna learn this song why not make a video when you learn it and put it on YouTube? You describe yourself as, 'Just another person, nothing interesting' Well let me tell you that everyone has something to give and you are more special than most already because you play the ukulele!!! I look forward to hearing your version of this song. Thanx for the comment. HG.

  • Fantastic stuff mate - love the hero stance! Any chance of the chords - can't see from the vid. I'm a newbie and that would be cool to play! As would Whistle for the Choir, if you're feeling generous.

You'd be welcome for a strum, a sing and a pint with SCUPA if you're ever in Birmingham on a Tuesday night.

    Cheers

  • Hi 2r2e/SCUPA I really do think it would be a nicer world if we all gave a bit more than just take all the time. First of all I need to thank The Fratellis for giving us all a great song. I sing it out of my respect for them. It originally is sung in G but I had to key it down to F. Chords below.

    Intro F C F C

    Verses F G Bb A D C (Twice)

    Semi Verse F C

    Repeat from the top

    Bridge F Bb C F Bb C F Bb C Bb C F

    Intro End F C F C

  • Whistle Down The Wind

    Intro: D, F Sharp minor, F minor, E minor, A A7

    Verse: 1 is intro twice

    CHORUS: is again intro twice

    Intro repeat: D, F Sharp minor, F minor, E minor, A, A7

2nd Verse and Second Chorus Same as above.

    Solo: C, Em, Ebm, Dm, G, A, A7,

    D, F Sharp Minor, F minor, E minor, A/G/F Sharp minor/E minor.

    LAST CHORUS: D, F Sharp minor, F minor, E minor, A/G/F Sharp minor/E minor. D, F Sharp Minor, F minor, E minor, A, A7. ENDS ON A7.

  • I hope you enjoy playing the Fratellis songs as much as I do. I wish someone would cover my songs? You never know the Fratellis might one day cover Thank God For TV? Now I really must stop dreaming and get back to writing The Ukulele Henry Show, say hello to Birmingham for me. Kind Regards. Ukulele Henry.

  • Lol!, well done mate!, jon would be impressed!

  • Thank you for your great comment. I am a big fan of The Fratellis. I also play Whistle For The Choir and it always goes down well. It was great to play Chelsea Dagger in front of 665 people and to hear them sing along with me. You can't see them but there were 30 children at the front also singing along. Thank you once again. Henry.
