The houses at the front are very small, and those at the background are too huge.
it looks unrealistic...i mean look at this little house in the left,at the front. And then at this HUUUGE house at the right in the background. You have to go smaller in the background, because the houses at the front are nearer to you then those at the background,so you see them bigger then the others. And they are all side to side standing like there is no street.
There's no way that took 7 months to draw lol, unless you drew that shit on paper you could walk on. I can do that on a sheet of 14x17 in a couple hours.
It's great, but the shading is not as good. Should've picked a point of lighting and it would have looked a lot better. If you take a look at the bottom right-hand corner at 0:27 it gives the illusion of sunlight hitting the buildings. If u had done that for the whole composition it would've been many times better. :)
@vannido1 Drawing in all those lines and getting the angles of how you want it to turn out may or may not, for some people, take a pretty long time if your really trying to put a lot of detail into your drawing. So you never know, it may really take 7months if you have not tried drawing something like shown in this video yourself.
@xXKhaoticRinoXx Yes indeed, a year ago I was working on my first cityscape ever, I saw many times many of the videos at your right, and used the undo tool, I had to spend a lot of time getting the right angle of the windows and I gave up for some time too, still I haven't finished my work and I hope that someday I will.
@vannido1 Well you cant force it. If you force a drawing, or force any kind of art, it wont turn out good. But if you are truly inspired at any moment, then it will turn out good.
Nice effort. I can see you have some passion. I think putting down a horizon line and vanishing points will help give the drawing some depth. defining sillouettes and negative space will help with the overall composition as well.
7 months ! I know people that could do this in one sitting !

Yeh but how big is the piece of paper? Is what you should be thinking. You have a point though if it's A4, but anything more than A3 is impressive.
