  • Have owned 5 different Duster's, years ago. 3, '71 340 cars, 2 of those being D21 cars. 1, FC7 Inviolet, and 1 GB5 blue. No mopar musclecars in my driveway currently, but thinking about bringing another home again eventually. Love the Sassy Grass Green. Just about my favorite of the great mopar colors. Thinking about useing that on a 440 Power Wagon project I have, and Lemon Twist possibly on a 440 Sportsman van I also have.

Great footage of a gorgeous rare little A-body.....

  • @SixSpeedSS Sounds like you really know your Mopars. Thanks for taking a look a this one!

  • man, i saw a lot of your movies of restored cars. in my opinion you are auto god!!!

  • @DaWestsideUnlimited Thanks for watching....I appreciate the support!

  • @ramblinaround-

You said it. I drove it off the showroom floor for $2,800! Got to stretch legs on the 224 mile round-trip driving my sister back to college on the New York State Thruway.

It had a 4 bbl Holley carb...punch that pedal and really felt the other 2 bbls kick in. I had a '87 Trans Am for 12 years...never felt it lived up to the Duster....

Can't believe the 30K tag on this one....

  • 1970 Duster 340-Forest Green.....My first car Regret it had a only a 3-speed manual floor trans.

Drove it off the showroom floor for less than 3 Grand!

  • @hankus48 That's a pretty awesome first car. I didn't have anything nearly that cool. Thanks for taking a look at this one!

  • @hankus48 wish it was still that price

  • I own a 70' 340 Lime light J5 Duster. So to correct both of the the poster below... Sublime was the name for J5 on Dodge not Plymouths, although either way it's the same color. Also J6 Sassy grass was available in 70' on 340 cars. Lastly, the grille is incorrect for a 340 car as well as the center caps on the wheels. They should be the light argent not the dark.

  • @ddibsn Thanks for the added info, it's always appreciated. Thanks for watching!

  • wrong grill not 340

  • The best car ever made go mopar u are with us or behind us

  • @HuskyCOGtnt118 Thanks for checking it out. I just posted a vid of a 1972 Dodge Demon that you might find interesting, if you haven't already seen it.

  • mopar or no car

  • @kinging9 Thanks for watching! This is definitely a nice example.

  • It IS lime green. More specificly "Sublime", paint code J5. Sassy grass green is a totaly different color, paint code J6. 1970 340 Dusters couldn't be had in sassy grass green, no matter what the spec sheet says.

  • It's NOT Lime Green, It's Sassy Grass Green. At least the spec sheet got it right !

  • @brians09challenger That color looks perfect on this car. There sure were some amazing Mopar's back in the day. It's cool to see them bringing some of that back with the new ones.

  • mucho coolness. i've got some mopar fuses if they need some.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana I really like this one too. It sure draws some attention with that color.

  • @azzarbprime It really is a beauty. I can't think of a color that would draw more attention. Thanks for having a look at it. Hope you have a great weekend!

  • Hmm, your ads are for a new buick and used cars online . . . I think I'll take the Duster instead.

  • I think they call this Sassy Grass green. Great car! I love how Dodge painted their engine bays body color, always makes for beautiful restoration work.

  • @samspace81 The body color in the engine bay makes the car look a bit more custom for sure. It's a beauty...thanks for checking it out!

  • sweet! gotta love the classic mopar's! my dad's first car was a 74 duster.

  • @tgredneck Glad you like it. Thanks for checking it out!

  • I like the name Duster , that car is really popular at the moment in TheNetherlands , but its a Dacia , made by Renault in its factories in Romania , I'll make a vid of ,, our'' Duster .

  • @dutchurbanminer Thanks for having a look at our Duster. I'll be sure to check out your vid as well.

  • Anyone who doesn't like that color is just plain silly.

  • @bisquik3006 I like it XD

I wish Chevy had cool colors like that :/

  • @bisquik3006 Mopar sure had some cool colors back in the day. This car just makes you look at it.

  • man that colour........that is pure awesomeness :D

my bass has that exact colour, i simply love it, but i bet that car costs a fortune :)

  • @JulianOnBass That's cool that it matches your bass....ya need to get you one. Thanks for watching!

  • awsome i like the color

  • @gs650gokart It's definitely an attention grabber. Thanks for taking a look at it!

  • Nice, clean and green! ;-)

  • I painted my dorm room at Bexley Hall in that color in 1977 to match my blanket that I think I tossed in 1998. I don't think it's that color any more.

  • @biukucanoe I could stand in front of that car and use it as a green screen.

  • Awesome car, love the dusters in that color. The most slpet on car in america, but you gotta love them cause they are part of the mopar family!! Thank you for sharing.

  • @cwazmann1 Yep, they are just simple and quick. You're right, it sure looks great in that color. Thanks for checking it out!

  • Plymouth didn't bother with licencing Taz, but stuck with the whirling eyes. A 4 door valiant is worth $8,000, are these things worth $25,000 yet? I saw a 1966 Dart convertible with matching engine asking $25,000. My valiant had the horizontal speedometer and bench seats, 13 mpg

  • Reminds me of lime sorbet ....

  • I'm in love <3

That's a beautiful car and the colour is amazing!

BTW: I'm liking the new look on your edited videos :)

  • Great channel Jeff! I really like seeing all the muscle cars I grew up with. Thanks for all the cool videos. I had a 68 Camaro RS but sold it when we started our family. I still have the 1979 Ford F100 stepside I bought new in April 1979. Now I have a 66 Galaxie 500XL 2 door Fastback I need to restore. Take care. Russ

  • That 's really sharp!! That's a tough color to pull off on a larger car!! Dusters, Demons, Scamps were Hugely popular in the 70's and 80's. I must have repaired or painted 30-40 of them back in the day!!☺

  • @805ROADKING Larger car? These were "compacts" in their day, but they were just shrunken down versions of full size cars. By the time they evolved into the Volare and Fury they went through midsize and full size classifications, not much smaller than 300 or challenger they make now.

  • @biukucanoe Cartoon colors like that, orange, and yellow were usually used on small sports cars and real compact cars like volkswagens!!☺

  • @805ROADKING I think this is one car that looks great in that color. This is one of the nicest Dusters I've come across. Thanks for having a look at it!

  • I've driven one of these before many years ago and they are awesome!

  • @hunhun23 That's awesome that you drove one. They sure are cool...and pretty fast.

  • I see a really cool Electric Blue Chevelle at 0:07...LOL!!! It kind of resembles the SS I like! :)

Great vid man. I like the lime green. I like the photo stills of the engine too!

  • @mbyr31 I'll have to take a look at that Chevelle for you one day. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!

  • i liked that black lincoln in the beginning!

  • @roydied15 I'll have a video of the Lincoln up pretty soon. I just filmed it today. Thanks for watching!

  • love mopar green!!

  • @k73mrviking It does look pretty awesome! Thanks for checking it out!

  • YUCK!!!! My dad would like it. lol.

  • @woodzo40 Hey, I filmed that Iroc you wanted to look at. I'll probably post the vid tomorrow. Thanks for watching!

  • @RamblinAround Cool. you might get a bunch of yucks on the Iroc, but i like em. Kinda takes a younger generation.lol.Thanks.That Mach 1 is nice;and thats comming from a chevy guy hahaha

  • Mopar rules! Love that car and the color! Thanks for sharing that.

  • @mwig50 It is pretty cool......thanks for checking it out!

  • Love dusters, little pocket rockets of there day.

  • @pulse0000 That 340 will definitely move that thing pretty good. I like the lime green on this car...looks right to me.
