Personally, I think there's no winner. Salah and Gucchon are awesome dancers and they are the best when the stuff is about locking and poppin'! One day I'd like to go to Japan, the world's best poppin' n lockin' dancers are there!

They also have fun in what they do and everyone should do the same. Isn't that where this all started? Each excel in their own art and it is ART, not sport which is why judging at competitions is flawed anyway.

salah has more originality. Gucchon's routine looks like every other plain popping routine. Who says what popping is? Guys like salah blur the line. I think it makes it better overall. Maybe the definition of popping needs an adjustment lol
The humor that Salah brings is what I like. Not to take it too serious, dancing is about having fun, and Salah looks likes he's having fun. Just because he does the same moves doesn't mean he can't do just about anything. Lots of dancers perform the same moves especially when you have as many vids on youtube Salah has you will probably see the same thing more than once.
i think salah is way better than gucchon.. gucchon popping is just usual i seen in every popping battle.. but salah popping unusual to seen and hard to follow too.
salah here compared to now?? the technicality i can say he improved for past 4 years but gucchon?? he improved hell alot.. if they battled right now? ohh.
They both popped well. I think collectively, Gucchon online started popping in his second round. During the first round his body wasn't popping enough and you couldn't notice it; it was too fluid-like. His second round was great though. With Salah, he was popping noticeably in both rounds, which is what really made the difference in this battle. Sure he entertains, but that's all part of the battle. You have to win the crowd over the opponent with popping. Which he obviously did well.
Both are great. But JESUS get off the effing floor. I was rooting for Gucchon, but it takes real guts/class on Salah's part to let him have the entire floor during the performance, while he's crowding him. I'm sure it's in the spirit of "friendly competiton" but let the man dance.
salah is very charismatic & is very fan friendly. sometimes even incorporating fans into the show. its hard not to like him going in. which i think helps him in the end, not that he needs it.
now that he is so big, its harder for the other guy to live up to the hype.

I'm a huge fan of both of these guys and how each interprets their moves. I use to loath gucchon so so so much but know I can't stop watching him. Was the same with salah when I first got into popping/funk/boogaloo. I think the guys who are on the rise at the moment are kite and nelson. anyway all are absolute amazing and such technical dancers moving the bar every year .
i'm from the UK, so not many dancers to look up to haha
in my opinion Salah is better because he does popping much more better... at Gucchon you can see little poppin' especially on the chest, which I think is the most important. anyway, nice battle! ...

They both popped well. I think collectively, Gucchon online started popping in his second round. During the first round his body wasn't popping enough and you couldn't notice it; it was too fluid-like. His second round was great though. With Salah, he was popping noticeably in both rounds, which is what really made the difference in this battle. Sure he entertains, but that's all part of the battle. You have to win the crowd over the opponent with popping. Which he obviously did well.

Both are great. But JESUS get off the effing floor. I was rooting for Gucchon, but it takes real guts/class on Salah's part to let him have the entire floor during the performance, while he's crowding him. I'm sure it's in the spirit of "friendly competiton" but let the man dance.

salah is very charismatic & is very fan friendly. sometimes even incorporating fans into the show. its hard not to like him going in. which i think helps him in the end, not that he needs it.
now that he is so big, its harder for the other guy to live up to the hype.

Haha, you can see the fake handshake in other Salah clips too like Salah vs. Sala. Yeah it's a childish prank, but that's how battling goes in bboying, popping, or other styles. Even among battlers, Salah is a kid at heart, most of us find it endearing. And as you can see in the end, Gucchon takes no offense.
Both of these guys are at the top of the game here.

Gucchon is an amazing popper.
You see the difference? Gucchon would kill anyone is a straight poppin contest, but when ur able to throw different aspects of all types of dance into a performance, thats when Salah shines. You see what i mean? Regardless. Both are crazy talented.

@DociPonken Hyun Joon? Really? He's better than Gucchon? At popping? That would explain why he has NEVER excelled at popping competitions (i.e. juste debout) like Gucchon or even Salah have. At best, Hyun Joon is a weak "popper" and a dancer who throws in a bit of "popping" into a style that uses alot of tricks and alot of different dance types. He's a great dancer. Dont confuse Gucchon's skill level with Hyun Joons tho and dont put them on the same level. Gucchon would MURDER Hyun Joon.

I'm a huge fan of both of these guys and how each interprets their moves. I use to loath gucchon so so so much but know I can't stop watching him. Was the same with salah when I first got into popping/funk/boogaloo. I think the guys who are on the rise at the moment are kite and nelson. anyway all are absolute amazing and such technical dancers moving the bar every year .
i'm from the UK, so not many dancers to look up to haha
