@GMCman82 very cool. mine is just a xl slt with the 6. i have been throwing around the idea of putting a turbo on it. although, they do have a good amount of giddyup as is.
@strongarm3288 yes they do but be careful, the TB computer is very touchy with what you do to the vheicle, putting in a sound system usually causes the comp to go faulty, the envoy has 4 or i believe 5 computers in it that run it so be careful with what you do.(SAME COMP?) before too long im cutting the muffler and resonator off and running an open pipe all the way back with a super 44 flowmaster at the end of it where the resonator is supposed to be. supposedly frees up a few hp to make it 300
@strongarm3288 reason for that is it has huge exhaust ports and all 6 cyl. go through just 1 singe pipe. look underneath it and see how freakin big the exhaust pipe is. you dont see that much not even on a lot of v8's.
what they should have done was use the trailblazer body and grill with the envoy's interior.....trailblazer is better performance and better engine....envoy has the best interior but thats the way it is with all gmc they always have good interior
@Apolloisbest how does the TB perform better and have a better engine? you talking about the 4.2 or the 6.0SS in the vid. cuz the envoy 4.2 makes 11 more hp than the tb 4.2. and has more top end power and better traction control.
TB is bobo and cheaper inside and out. Envoy is classy and much nicer inside especially. The SLT vs LTZ, of course. Just my opinion, although you could do nice things with either if you do it tastefully.
trailblazer looks better but they are the same exact vehicle besides grill and head/tail lights so i would take either or

i prefer the Envoy because it has a slightly sexier shape to the sides. That, and I own one.

@Apolloisbest yeah its an inline 6 with 291 hp. get one with the VVT and its always in its powerband once the low speed traction control deactivates.
