@bighi Im Video meine ich nur einen V8 gesehen zu haben. Hatte beide Fahrzeuge im Straßenzustand und der 5Zyl hat für mich eine schönere Soundkulisse gehabt. Wobei man aus dem alten V8 auch einen schönen Sound herausholen kann, so ist es ja nicht! :)

der a4 ist aber kein dtm. der fuhr in einigen touringserien rum, aber in der dtm gab es den TT und dann den A4 B6 - der B5 wurde sizusagen übersprungen.

@miamizue06 Die ganze Audi reihe aus diesem Jahr waren gut, vor allem die 5 zylinder, aber sorry das ich das sage, ich bin supra fan, weil das auto einfach spitze ist. Noch heute haben die Rennsport Autos probleme gegen supra anzukommen, weil da die Japaner einfach gute arbeit geleistet haben (bei diesem Auto :) ). Ich hab nix gegen Audi und fahre sie immer gerne. Ein kumpel hat nen audi a3 Turbo mit 220 PS, der macht richtig laune.

The cheaper option to the Ur quattro (turbo coupe) is the Coupe GT which is front wheel drive and N/A. Then there is the Coupe quattro which is four wheel drive but still N/A.

I've had a couple of Ur quattro's, and they truely are fantastic cars. So much traction.

But the history with these cars is part of the allure, along with the handling, looks and sound.

I should drive the one I have more, but it makes it even more special when I get her out once every couple of months or so.

I agree. Wholeheartedly. Let's see, who makes a V8? Everybody? V6? Everybody. But, in all that sea of 4 cylinders, V6s, V8s, there are the flat 6, Audi inline 5, BMW inline 6 (a rarity now), Wankel and V12s. That's all there is for me. They can keep the rest. Yeah, V10s too. Keep them. I'll take a V12 instead. The beauty of the plants I have just described, Audi included, is that one knows exactly what it is from a mile away.

not only is the sound amazing, but they are prob the most reliable engines ever made. They are amazing work horses. When they were in the wrc, the mechanics would never bring engine parts along, because the engines NEVER had problems. And that is with them putting out 500+ HP. I have a 2.2t 200 with 265000 miles, and the engine is perfect. Other things break, but the engine lives on, and ha lost no power since it was new

This is the Donauring Rennen in Igolstadt Germany... It was a real city race from 1949-1954, since 1999 they let classic race cars and bikes run on a 1.6km part of the old track layout through the city of Ingolstadt. Main sponsor is Audi Tradition but sometimes other join like Mercedes in 2003 showing their silver arrows from Sterling Moos. I was there once... fantastic to listen to that sound specialy the old V16 race cars :))
