theres a button on the dash (middle) were your Central lock is. its says (ESP) (ASR) or stuff like this. mind doesn't have any esp at all lol, its an option, either u have it and the button is there, or either you have no ESP and you have no button to turn it off.

i have the c230 K 2002 i can simply turn it off with a key.....but my friend owns a 1998 c280.....we don't know what to do with it....
