  • I might get one in a week or so even though I have only had a corn snake a long time ago but I am 28 and have the time and money and dedication. Plus I have been taking wild animal classes at the Moorpark EATM program and have worked with many types of animals. Do you think I can handle this?

  • WATCH OUT WITH HANDLING THEY BITE!

  • I have a ball python for about a year and a half. im also gonna get another snake(probably a colubrid in november. Do you think i would be ready for one by february thats when the expo is. Also do you just use a heat mat

  • gunna have to get one of them.

  • @woopsreptiles actually they do go on the ground. I have many chondros and believe me they will utilize i entire cage.

  • they NEVER go on the ground .. 100% arborial just putting that out there

  • @woopsreptiles no not 100%, they do sometimes go on the ground, more at night, but they do move around and they do sometimes, though not often, go on the ground. If they are very stressed they may even ball up on the ground

  • @tarantulafinatic323 To answer your question I spray my chondros down every day at least twice a day, and for heat I use radiant heat panels or flex watt like tape and thermostats.

  • how do you keep your tanks humid and how to you keep it hot im gettin one and i dont no to much a bout them and im wondering those ?s

  • @mttc72 Alot of people do this because they have a large collection and not enough space....and if your thinking about putting reptiles in the garage it needs to be insulated and have some sort of vapor barrier in the winter.

  • @randallpegues hey i was wondering as a baby when u have them in the tubs how do u heat the cage belly heat or side and if is belly would u have to crank up the temps alot and i am looking to get a sorng type locality one thats y i am asking

  • Why do I see so many videos on youtube where people are keeping their snakes in their garage? Is this common? I'd never think about doing that with mine.

  • @TREBOOGIE4 Either the Aru or Sorong are both good choices...i dont have any sorongs but all my arus are great

  • Your totally correct... the only thing is...these are captive breed and born ... A human interaction can be stressfull to the animal, and If you give them a cage thats big enough you really dont have to worry about the exercise part as much.

  • You were saying it is best to take the perch out if you can so that you don't disturb the animal, but I disagree and not just because you can make them more tame.

Taking out these animals provides essential exercise, in the jungle they get disturbed enough to provide there requirements for exercise.

  • @ TREBOOGIE4 ... i wouldnt say tamest,,, but the Sorong, Aru, and jayapura have pretty good temperments.... the Biak are usually the most bitey

  • Wat is the tamest green tree python?

  • @TREBOOGIE4 aru or sorong

  • great vid!

  • babys are all good....my son...baby gtps...baby leopard geckos... and my puppy hahah

  • awesome dude btw hows the baby

  • What thermostat do u use for ur snakes?

  • So what i mean by intermediate or expert level is this... how much money, time, effort, and care are you willing to put into the animal....anyone can buy an animal but you need to do your research first

  • what would you say an intermediate or expert experience level would be

  • Ok. Umm what do u use to control the heat tapes temperature? Or is it a heat pad? Does the water get moldy or gross from having the heat under it?

  • Great video. I'm planning on getting one. What do u use to heat the cages and to keep humidity up?!?

  • how much do they cost

  • @ justinc7920 hey good question....i used heat tape and my room stays pretty warm...cuz i keep a radiator heater on all the time

  • How do you heat the tubs?

  • beautiful green tree pythons man thumbs up

  • @helenareptile i just got into green trees a few months ago and they are amazing

  • looking good dude.
