Performance Guitars is(was?)a custom guitar shop in Hollywood, CA that used to make guitars for Steve Vai before Ibanez in the 80's.(The fire shaped guitar, etc...)

I use to go to Musicians Institute with him back in

95`. The guitar cost $4500, his 7 string bridge was two 6string bridges welded together cuz there weren`t any 7string bridges sold back in 95`

Ask anybody that went to MI in 95`, and they will definately know the one japanese dude that kicked ass
