  • What kind of camera you you use for the videos?

  • It's a very simple Konica KD-30M with a 2gb memory card installed. I'd like a decent one but the trains come first in the spending department

  • I enjoy watching your railway in action and my outdoor railway is coming along fine. However I have two Heljan locos a Western and a Hymek and I find the wheels get very dirty quite quickly as they are not plated like Hornby or Bachmann locos. How do you get off the excess dirt .?

  • I use the end of a worn out peco track rubber on the wheels. works fine. I don't have a lot of problems with mine. I have two Westerns, a Hymek and a Class 33. The two Heljan 47s i had have now been sold on and replaced by Bachmann ones.

  • Think your railways are brilliant metadyneman, hope to create an outdoor set myself too once the garden is in shape.

    Great videos, fantastic details.

Can you tell me which Mike Oldfield album the covertrack is from and the name of the track please. Thanks Marty.

  • Thank you and good luck with your proposed plans. The track is called Sunset and comes from the double album Light & Shade released a couple of years ago.

  • Thank you very much. The annual spruce up begins again soon. It's a constant job keeping it all looking nice & well kept. But it is a great way to relax and enjoy a sunday afternoon

  • Nicely made: steady camera, original modeling, fun-looking, (notwithstanding the aforesaid career consultant's novel viewpoint)

    Tom L.

  • Thanks for that.. much appreciated..... the point the aforementioned "career consultant" missed was the fact I have to get of my a*se to do the filming.. so i won't be following his somewhat misguided advice he he.

  • Nice video. I think Gazza660 need to get a life himself however.

  • Thanks I take the comment you refer to with a pinch of salt. I see his comment as coming from someone who is insecure and gets his enjoyment in criticising others who actually enjoy something creative and is far more rewarding than sitting at a pc all day taking the p*ss.

  • Harsh

  • No, I wouldn't say harsh, I'd say mis-informed ignorant and mis-guided. Thanks for the word of support tho. His comment makes him more of a tw*t than me i think so i've left it there. :0) Please Gazza if you can't make a nice comment then don't bother at all thank you.

  • Yes I agree with you there.I don't know who Gazza thinks he is.Great railway.

  • OMG u need a life seriously BUILDING a train set ur 46 act ur fcking age u sad bum get off ur ass and do something with ur life instead of sitting at a sation for 14 hours just to see a flipping train BLOODY hell mun!

  • WoW what a great layout. What scale is the layout? i cant wait to start nd build mine again and is the music mike oldfeild? because it sounds like it

  • Hi Paul, It's OO Gauge (4mm scale) and yes it is Mike Oldfield... glad you like the layout. It's been down about 3 years now. Station has been rebuilt 3 times due to cat damage but otherwise it's mostly as built.
