Actually revolution should be a way to express the needs for authorities, I don't think the people in Bahrain would ignore Bahraini citizens for the sake of their religion as there are many other religions beside Islam that the citizens have. citizens will be loyal to the country. Although I agree with you in terms of removing injustice from Bahrain (and the entire Middle East for that matter) we must not forget what happened in Iran during the revolution of the 70's. Both shia and sunni Muslims participated in the demonstrations against the monarchy. The sunnis supported the Khomieni all the way no questions asked.The sunnis were a very small minority that believed in the Khomieni's promise of peace and justice to all. Let me tell what the conditions....
The big mistake is to think in categories like "shia" or "sunni". Not only shia muslims are oppressed in bahrain. The ruling class in Bahrain may call themselves "sunni", but that does not mean that they are close to every sunni citizen.
I prefer to think in categories like "oppressed" and "oppressor". If you do so youll notice that both sunnis and shias are oppressed in egypt, palestine, lybia, jordan, yemen, bahrain and so on. You Americans can't devide us Muslims. These times are over.
I think that when it comes to treatment. They are all same. It is hard to know a person's belief by looking at him. Not all shia people agree with the revolution of course. And I know some sunnis agree with that revolution. What I know is that revolution is not to kick the king of Bahrain, but they want the country to be like Kuwait. A democracy country that they can even shout at the royal families when they do not do something as it is supposed to be.

Many Arabian Gulf Countries are scared of the Shia expansion in the region. However, if those countries were well-armed and confident like Turkey they would have no fear at all. The title is a little Insulting- even if it is a hypothetical question. If by "Sunnis" you mean fat oil Sheiks comprising about 0.02% of the Muslim population- you should specify. I don't think I've heard any community as a whole condemn the Bahrain protests. The main critics are the Saudi Royals, and they supported Mubarak, And Bin Ali, so why not the King of Bahrain as well? Actually revolution should be a way to express the needs for authorities, I don't think the people in Bahrain would ignore Bahraini citizens for the sake of their religion as there are many other religions beside Islam that the citizens have. citizens will be loyal to the country. I can't blieve Shias would like to kill Sunnis .. I am Sunni I have 5 Shias friends we take care of each other and be good citizens .. don't care about religion. Although I agree with you in terms of removing injustice from Bahrain (and the entire Middle East for that matter) we must not forget what happened in Iran during the revolution of the 70's. Both shia and sunni Muslims participated in the demonstrations against the monarchy. The sunnis supported the Khomieni all the way no questions asked.The sunnis were a very small minority that believed in the Khomieni's promise of peace and justice to all. The big mistake is to think in categories like "shia" or "sunni". Not only shia muslims are oppressed in bahrain. The ruling class in Bahrain may call themselves "sunni", but that does not mean that they are close to every sunni citizen.
I prefer to think in categories like "oppressed" and "oppressor". If you do so youll notice that both sunnis and shias are oppressed in egypt, palestine, lybia, jordan, yemen, bahrain and so on. You Americans can't devide us Muslims. These times are over.

I think that when it comes to treatment. They are all same. It is hard to know a person's belief by looking at him. Not all shia people agree with the revolution of course. And I know some sunnis agree with that revolution. What I know is that revolution is not to kick the king of Bahrain, but they want the country to be like Kuwait. A democracy country that they can even shout at the royal families when they do not do something as it is supposed to be.

Many Arabian Gulf Countries are scared of the Shia expansion in the region. However, if those countries were well-armed and confident like Turkey they would have no fear at all. But unfortunately they depend heavily on U.S and blindly following their agenda. The title is a little Insulting- even if it is a hypothetical question. If by "Sunnis" you mean fat oil Sheiks comprising about 0.02% of the Muslim population- you should specify. I don't think I've heard any community as a whole condemn the Bahrain protests. The main critics are the Saudi Royals, and they supported Mubarak, And Bin Ali, so why not the King of Bahrain as well? And Sunni Muslim stupid enough to break a tenant of the Quran and support and oppressor hasn't found God yet.

I say give them there freedom and rights,, It's better for everyone, sunnis too, because if sunnis doesn't give them there rights as human beings, there will be something like a revenge when shias get control, exactly like what is happening in Iraq right now,, It's idiotic
