Does anyone else think the theme Lesbo kinda sounds like Don't fear the reaper by Blue Oyster Cult? I'm not accusing Goblin of stealing it but it sounds pretty similar to me. Slow Circus is a great melody, kinda like a twisted child's song in a way.
A bit but slightly farfetched since Blue Oyster Cult plays hard rock and Lesbo has elements from various other subgenres. You can find a few similarities in the melody if you REALLY look for them. I don't know.
When I was small, my dad used to listen to Don't Fear the Reaper all the time and he played it on guitar almost every weekend. I hated everything my parents listened to but after seeing Halloween at a young age, my opinion on the song changed.
This song gives transexuals a name!!

I can totally see the BOC similarity.....but I think that's mostly due to the cowbell.

Yeah sometimes hearing certain music under certain circumstances can make you like a song you normally wouldn't.

The theme sounds similar to the opening of "In the Mouth of Madness" in the beginning, don't you think?

The John Carpenter movie? Yeah, I guess it kinda does a little.

Good call. You are so right in those opening strains. Gah! That was one of my favorite things about that movie.

Probably because John Carpenter is a big fan of Argento's!
If you don't believe me, watch Masters of Horror: Cigarette Burns directed by JC...
It stars Udo Kier out of Suspiria and Deep Red is playing at his character's cinema!!!
