I´m sure it was done good and profesionall.

But a V12 with lots of torque is still a heavy V12 Engine. And the weight distribution makes it hard to get a good setting.

@kokuyo24 I bet that v12 doesnt weight much more than an RB26 considering the fact it has 2 turbo's and a cast iron block <-- very heavy. a chevy 5.7L V8 weighs the same as a L24 (cast iron block also inline 6 but no turbos...)

This engine weights alone (without turbos) more than RB26 fully dressed including turbos. Twin Turbo V12 weights even more. LS1 if you mean 5.7 V8 weights much less because is all aluminum and doesn't have turbos.

This car, if my memory is exact, is owned by a business french man. No idea if he still has it or he sold it but it has a V12 mercedes engine init!! Well tuned man but shame Nismo japan didn't want to sell any of the parts to you......I've read ADDX and I knew all the story of this car from then.

The engine swap took place for one reason only ( as owner said in a tuning magazine interview ) and that reason is torgue.

The Mercedes V12 6715cc delevers much more immediate torgue than the RB26DET

oh yes it can and if you a have a RB26DETT you don't really need anything else:), but I think he put the V12 in because it is shorter then the RB26DETT and he needs the place for his four turbochargers and other mods. I've seen the car in a magazine, it's really incredible and I'm interested which time it makes on the quarter mile...
